This project involves the <br />complete structural design of a new sea wall, approximately 1,407 feet long, to replace the existing <br />sea wall at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center. <br />Seawall Assessment and Restoration, Aventura, Florida-Principal-in-Charge. MUE was involved in the <br />restoration of two sections of seawalls located along canals (2.1 miles) for the City of Aventura. During <br />the visual observations, structural assessment of the current conditions of the existing piles, seawall <br />panels and seawall caps were obtained, analyzed and written report of our findings were prepared. <br />Torry Island Seawall & Walkway, Belle Glade, Florida - Principal in Charge – MUE’s role on this project was <br />to structurally design a new 800ft long new bulkhead/seawall structure and concrete boardwalk structure. <br />Additionally, MUE engineered foundations and anchor points to secure floating dock structures designed by <br />another company. <br />Port Everglades Consolidated Maintenance Facility Building, Hollywood, FL-Principal-in-Charge. MUE <br />provided comprehensive schematic design plans relating to the consolidation of all port maintenance <br />functions, including a gas station and vehicle maintenance facility. The project is now in Phase II aiming <br />for a final set of construction documents for September 2025. <br />Water Wastewater Plant-Wind Hardening, Coral Springs, Florida-Principle-in-Charge. MUE is a member of <br />the team for the assessment of the structural adequacy of six existing building structures and providing <br />structural hardening details to ensure compliance with the current FBC standards at the water- <br />wastewater treatment plant for the City of Coral Springs. <br />Clewiston Police Department, Clewiston, Florida- Principal in Charge. Our involvement in this project is <br />centered around renovations to convert an existing structure into a police station. Our services included: <br />steel framing for a roll up door, new interior CMU walls and partition walls, new exterior door openings, <br />and new ADA ramp including foundations, walls, and slab on grade. <br />Egret Pump Station Remodel, Hallandale Beach, Floria-Principal in Charge. Structural design related to <br />three openings in the existing roof slab and RC floor slab below the roof to allow installation of <br />submersible pumps and other modifications and upgrades to the pump station. Including emergency <br />generator, 16.5ft deep muffin monster manhole installation design and foundation slabs. <br />Pelmad Industrial Park-Pump Station Improvements, Medley, Florida-Principal in Charge. MUE provided <br />structural design and engineering related to the rehabilitation of an existing pump station structure. <br />Services include control panel foundation slab, generator foundation slab, valve vault enclosure and <br />structural restoration related to the wet well. <br />CW Thomas Community Center, Dania Beach, Florida- Principal-in-Charge -A member of the team for <br />this pursuit involving the structural design of a new 14,600sf community and aquatics center including an <br />indoor basketball court, gymnasium, classrooms, offices, locker rooms and kitchen area. <br />Pioneer Park Boat Ramps, Boynton Beach, Florida-Principal in Charge.
