The project is currently in the design and permitting phase with construction anticipated <br />following agency approvals. <br />Sunset Harbour Yacht Club Repairs, Miami Beach, Florida. Providing marine engineering and construction <br />administration services for the dock systems. The project involves continuous inspections and repairs to the concrete <br />seawalls and dock systems for the marina. Responsible for site visits; providing analysis of seawall and concrete dock <br />repairs, crack and spall repair tracking, and field reporting. <br />Bayfront Park Docks Inspection, Miami, Florida. Performed above- and below-water inspection of three fixed <br />docks, two northernmost docks of approximately 2,500 SF each and one southern dock of approximately 3,000 SF. <br />Responsible for inspecting deteriorating dock structures and assisted with the engineering report, which included an <br />assessment of the existing docks and recommendations for repairs or replacement. <br />Miami International Airport Central Base Apron and Utilities Modification and Expansion Project, Miami, Florida. <br />Construction engineering inspections for the expansion and modification of the American Airlines Central Base Apron <br />at Miami International Airport. The project scope included restoration of the North Terminal gate area, reconstruction <br />and expansion of the North Apron over an existing drainage canal, full demolition and replacement of pavement, <br />drainage, and lighting systems, realignment of the vehicle service road, and reconfiguration of aircraft parking. <br />Construction quality and compliance were assured through rigorous inspection and material testing. Soil classification, <br />proctor sampling, and compaction results were evaluated for over one million square yards of subgrade and base <br />materials. Concrete mix designs were reviewed, with analysis of water-cement ratios, slump, unit weight, air content, <br />and strength tests to approve hundreds of thousands of cubic yards of structural and slab concrete. Asphalt placement <br />was verified through assessment of temperature, lift thickness, bonding coat, mat and joint density, and compaction <br />for millions of tons of pavement. Stormwater infrastructure installation included DIP (3”, 8”, 12”) and RCP (18” to <br />84”) pipes, along with 10’x12’ and 10’x16’ box culverts. Electrical systems inspected included concrete-encased duct <br />banks and 70-foot high mast airfield lighting, with photometric testing performed to confirm illumination standards. <br />FDOT Construction Training Qualification Program (CTQP) certifications in asphalt, concrete, earthwork, Maintenance <br />of Traffic (MOT), and OSHA safety were completed during this project.* <br />Layne Blvd. Water Main Improvements Project, City of Hallandale, Florida. Responsible for managing the Layne Blvd <br />Water Main Improvement Project, which involved abandoning the existing asbestos concrete water main, installing a <br />new 12” water main along the full length of Layne Blvd, connecting to side streets, and reconstructing the asphalt <br />roadway. Oversaw contractor methods for installing 12”, 8”, and 6” water mains, gate valves, fire hydrants, and service <br />connections. Evaluated testing procedures and results for backfill lifts and verified that flushing and jumper connections <br />met industry standards. Reviewed milling, resurfacing, and full-depth pavement methods. Analyzed quantities for <br />invoice approval and managed RFIs and change orders related to labor, materials, and design adjustments.* <br />Sunny Lake Bird Sanctuary, Town of Davie, Florida. Responsible for designing the potable water and sanitary sewer <br />systems for a 4-acre site development serving a two-story community center. The design included a 12” potable <br />water main connecting to the city’s existing line under SR 818, incorporating protective sleeves beneath roadways, <br />fire hydrant connections, appropriate bends, and backflow prevention. Designed a gravity sanitary sewer line from <br />the facility to a proposed lift station, which discharged to an existing 8” force main under SR 818. Also managed the <br />permitting process, including preparation, submittal, and coordination of responses for FDEP and Broward County <br />Health Department approvals, ensuring all permits were secured to initiate construction.* <br />Opa-Locka Executive Airport Interior Service Road-Phase 2, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Responsible for serving <br />as the field representative during the construction of a two-lane perimeter road at Opa-Locka Executive Airport, <br />running adjacent to the airport’s taxiway. Evaluated and documented the contractor’s methods for erosion control, <br />underground drainage installation, proper handling, stockpiling, and disposal of suspected or contaminated materials, <br />as well as placement and compaction of the limerock base course and installation of guardrail. Determined required <br />soil sampling, scheduled testing during base course placement, and provided acceptance based on evaluation of test <br />results.* <br />*Services provided with prior firm
