He has overseen large-scale airfield pavement <br />reconstruction, utility realignment, and lighting system upgrades, ensuring <br />compliance through rigorous material testing and quality control. His work <br />includes managing water main replacements, seawall and dock inspections, <br />and reinforced concrete evaluations, as well as preparing engineering reports <br />and coordinating permitting with regulatory agencies. Jack also contributes <br />to resiliency planning by analyzing flood mitigation concepts and developing <br />detailed cost estimates for infrastructure adaptation strategies. <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Currie Park Redevelopment, West Palm Beach, Florida. Currie Park is a 16- <br />acre public waterfront park. Currie Park is a 16-acre public waterfront park. <br />The City is preparing an adaptive redesign of the park to mitigate flooding <br />from rainfall, king tides, and sea level rise. Responsible for the construction <br />administrative tasks for this project including coordination with contractors, <br />construction oversite, field reporting, quality assurance, responding <br />to submittals and RFIs, reviewing pay applications, progress tracking, <br />and ensuring compliance with project specifications and environmental <br />regulations. <br />Porto Vita Condominium, Aventura, Florida. Marine engineering and structural <br />design of 1,300 LF of shoreline incorporating a steel sheet pile seawall with <br />concrete pile supports, 300 square ft. of fixed concrete finger and marginal <br />docks, (17) steel pipe fender piles, and repairs to the existing fixed floating <br />docks. Responsible for the construction administration tasks for this project <br />including coordinating site visits with the contractor, field reporting, reviewing <br />pay applications, and conducting rebar inspections of the reinforcement in <br />the proposed seawall cap sections. <br />Haulover Park West Shoreline Stabilization Project, Miami Beach, Florida. <br />Providing construction administration services for a phased shoreline <br />stabilization project encompassing approximately 3,800 linear feet along the <br />west shoreline of Haulover Park. The project includes living shoreline elements, <br />revetment improvements, and resilience measures to address erosion, wave <br />energy, and sea level rise. Services include pre construction coordination, <br />weekly on site meetings and inspections, review of shop drawings and <br />submittals, responses to RFIs, review of pay applications, and oversight of <br />environmental permitting compliance and closeout documentation. <br />Bayfront Park Seawall Replacement, Miami Shores Village, Florida. Providing <br />construction administration services for the replacement of approximately <br />900 linear feet of an existing bayfront seawall to improve shoreline resilience <br />and meet current flood protection standards. The project includes full <br />seawall replacement using reinforced concrete living seawall panels, GRFP <br />reinforcement, anchorage systems including batter piles and king piles, and <br />a reinforced concrete cap. Services include coordination with the contractor <br />and stakeholders, review of submittals and shop drawings, responses to RFIs, <br />and monitoring construction activities for compliance with design documents <br />JACK HODGES, PE <br />Construction Administration
