<br />included construction administration to verify work was completed in accordance with construction documents and
<br />environmental permits, review of contractor submittals, and on-site coordination during repair activities. The project
<br />was completed on schedule and within budget, restoring safe and reliable marina operations.
<br />St. Pete Marina Design-Build Redevelopment, St. Petersburg, Florida. Providing engineering design for a large-
<br />scale design-build marina redevelopment project intended to modernize and expand an existing waterfront marina
<br />facility. The project includes redevelopment of more than 600 marina slips, seawall replacement, bridge replacement,
<br />and upland building improvements to enhance operational capacity, safety, and resilience. Services to be performed
<br />include leading the multidisciplinary design team and specialty consultants, coordinating technical disciplines, and
<br />advancing design development to support design-build delivery.
<br />Las Olas Marina Redevelopment, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Provided construction support services for the
<br />redevelopment and modernization of the Las Olas Marina to accommodate seasonal and transient vessels, deep-
<br />water megayachts, and enhanced marina amenities. The project includes installation of approximately 1,400 LF
<br />of new seawall, five floating piers, and landside improvements such as a boater services building and restaurant.
<br />Responsibilities included marine construction support, coordination with contractors and project stakeholders,
<br />and technical oversight during seawall and pier installation. Construction is underway as part of a phased marina
<br />redevelopment program to improve functionality and user experience.
<br />Venetian Marina & Yacht Club, Miami Beach, Florida. Providing marine engineering and environmental consulting
<br />services for the redevelopment and expansion of the Venetian Marina & Yacht Club, involving demolition of the existing
<br />facility and reconstruction of an expanded marina extending toward the Intracoastal Waterway. The project includes
<br />redevelopment of a 215-slip fixed-dock marina accommodating vessels up to approximately 120 feet, wave attenuation
<br />features, and full utility systems including electrical, potable water, fire protection, sanitary pump-out, lighting, and fuel
<br />infrastructure. Services performed include leading the multidisciplinary design team and consultants, marina layout
<br />and slip planning, mooring and berthing analyses, wave and current modeling, marine structural design, utility design,
<br />and coordination of environmental permitting with FDEP, USACE, and Miami-Dade County DERM.
<br />Westlake Park Segment 4, Hollywood, Florida. Provided marine engineering design and construction administration
<br />services as part of Broward County Parks and Recreation’s initiative to enhance shoreline features and restore
<br />mangrove habitat within Westlake Park. The project included the design and installation of approximately 10,000
<br />LF of shoreline crib-breakwater system to improve shoreline stabilization and promote habitat restoration. Services
<br />performed included leading the multidisciplinary design team, conducting site inspections, and overseeing the
<br />marine construction team during construction management activities. Construction is complete, resulting in improved
<br />shoreline resilience and enhanced environmental conditions within the park.
<br />Jungle Island Shoreline Stabilization, Miami Beach, Florida. Provided construction support for shoreline stabilization
<br />improvements at Jungle Island, a zoological park located along the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve on Watson Island.
<br />The project included stabilization of approximately 1,000 LF of unconsolidated shoreline through installation of
<br />a rock revetment system designed to minimize impacts to mangroves and marine resources. Services performed
<br />included construction coordination, site meetings and inspections, and technical support during installation, as
<br />well as involvement in design development and planning for future phases of shoreline and docking improvements.
<br />The shoreline stabilization phase was completed under permits issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Florida
<br />Department of Environmental Protection, and Miami-Dade County Division of Environmental Resources Management,
<br />resulting in improved shoreline resilience and long-term environmental protection.
<br />Matheson Hammock Park Boat Ramp, Miami, Florida. Provided construction-phase engineering support for
<br />improvements to the boat ramp facilities and the associated north adjacent parking lot at Matheson Hammock Park as
<br />part of a multi-phase shoreline and access enhancement program. The project included replacement of existing boat
<br />ramps and docks. Services performed included construction coordination, participation in on-site progress meetings,
<br />review of contractor submittals and RFIs, and field support to address constructability and sequencing within an active
<br />public park.
