RFQ #26-07-01 | 30 <br />Streetscape Design <br />EAC’s projects have included corridor or roadway <br />enhancements requiring Planting Plans (showing applicable <br />details for landscape planting types – buffer, xeriscape, <br />native, tree relocation, and streetscape beautification), <br />Irrigation Plans (with details for water source, power source, <br />control options and sleeving) and decorative signage <br />and street furniture where required and allowed by local <br />codes and ordinances. In all our projects, we make sure <br />to coordinate landscape and street furniture needs with <br />roadway infrastructure to avoid conflicts and costly rework. <br />Roadway Stormwater Drainage Design <br />EAC is experienced and competent in performing <br />stormwater and drainage engineering system’s design at <br />the Municipal, County, State and Federal levels. Our firm <br />has the capabilities to perform the planning, drainage <br />analyses, calculations, drainage reports and construction <br />documents for stormwater systems as they relate to site <br />development, roadway and bridge projects. We ensure <br />that regulatory criteria for stormwater quality and quantity <br />are maintained while recommending cost effective and <br />budget sensitive designs. We are cognizant of recent State <br />Mandated Treatment standards and will make sure that our <br />recommended design is in full compliance. <br />Our wide range of stormwater design experiences includes <br />conventional design methods such as full onsite retention <br />(French drains, deep injection wells, retention/detention ponds and lakes), positive conveyance systems (outfalls, culverts, open and <br />closed channels, and pumping stations) and the various combination of these systems depending on site specific conditions. <br />Our hydraulics engineers perform professional services in varying areas of infrastructure development and improvements works. From <br />new stormwater systems to retrofit designs, our skilled engineers utilize state of the art software and analysis tools to recommend <br />systems that are economical and environmentally sound. <br />EAC has also prepared and implemented Stormwater Master Plans for various clients. Our suite of drainage-related analytical and <br />modeling tools includes but is not limited to XP-SWMM, Automated Storm Sewer Analysis and Design (ASAD), Interconnected Channel <br />Pond Routing (ICPR), Cascade and Geopak Drainage. <br />EAC’s experience also extends to the design of permanent and temporary erosion control systems. As required by the National <br />Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), the incorporation of Erosion Control and Stormwater Pollution Prevention strategies <br />are important considerations for the implementation of stormwater infrastructure projects. Our team is familiar with best management <br />practices outlined by FDOT’s Erosion and Sediment Control Manual and FDEP’s Rule 62-621.300(4)(a). <br />Traffic Engineering <br />EAC also offers specialized traffic engineering services. We serve municipal, state, and private clients and have participated in <br />numerous corridor studies and intersection analyses projects. Our core capabilities include Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA), Traffic Signal <br />Timing Optimization, Corridor Studies, Safety Studies, Parking Studies and Multi Modal Planning.
