RFQ #26-07-01 | 29 <br />Earthwork <br />EAC is well experienced with developing cross section files in accordance with established state and local jurisdictional standards. We are <br />also familiar with estimating and computing earthwork quantities using computerized and non-computerized techniques. <br />Pavement Design <br />Our engineers are very familiar with pavement design procedures and will utilize available tools and software to determine layer <br />thicknesses and materials for new flexible and rigid pavements. In addition, our engineers are also adept at designing rehabilitation or <br />repair solutions including milling and resurfacing, pavement overlays, and overbuilds for slope correction. <br />Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) <br />EAC’s roadway engineers are also experienced with the <br />design of safe and effective temporary traffic control <br />plans for utilization during construction - to facilitate the <br />movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic during all <br />phases of construction. Our designs include solutions that <br />address ingress and egress to existing property owners and <br />businesses, routing of traffic, drop offs within clear zones, <br />bus stops, and maintaining operations with minimal impacts. <br />We have several staff members certified as FDOT Advanced <br />professionals for Temporary Traffic Control Plan (TTCP) <br />Design purposes. <br />Signing and Pavement Markings <br />Our engineers are familiar with designing, analyzing, and <br />documenting Signing and Pavement Markings in accordance <br />with all applicable jurisdictional manuals, guidelines, <br />standards, handbooks, procedures, and current design <br />memorandums. Our staff have full comprehension and <br />knowledge of local, FDOT and Manual on Uniform Traffic <br />Control Devices requirements. <br />Street Lighting Design <br />EAC has qualified electrical engineering staff experienced <br />with all facets of the design for roadway lighting and intelligent <br />transportation systems. Our staff have full comprehension of <br />construction documents delivery needs for lighting analyses <br />and justification reports, voltage drop calculations, lighting <br />plans and technical specifications - as needed to facilitate <br />roadway corridor and facility improvements. Our engineers <br />perform these services in accordance with all applicable <br />local and State manuals, guidelines, standards, handbooks, <br />procedures, and current design memorandums. <br />Signalization <br />EAC’s engineers are familiar with all roadway traffic <br />signalization tasks - including traffic data gathering, traffic <br />data analyses, signal warrant studies, intersection analyses, <br />and preparing the signalization design plans and details to <br />include all necessary design elements. We are experienced <br />in delivering Signalization Plans in accordance with all <br />applicable local and State manuals, guidelines, standards, <br />handbooks, procedures, and current design memorandums.
