RFQ #26-07-01 | 34 <br />2.3 Experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) <br />Since inception in 1994, EAC has performed services for the FDOT as a consultant. EAC has worked on numerous FDOT projects and <br />has developed a strong reputation in the industry for providing practical solutions to complex conditions. Our diversity of expertise is <br />reflected in the varying types of projects that we have successfully completed. From planning, to programming, to design, to CEI and <br />plans review - FDOT has found EAC to be a responsible, responsive, and reliable consultant. This statement is evidenced by the large <br />amount of repeat business for which the FDOT has hired EAC. <br />Our engineers are very familiar with all FDOT planning criteria, design standards, plans preparation manuals, design memoranda, <br />technical specifications, and construction management requirements. Our depth and extent of practice with FDOT spans across five of <br />seven FDOT Districts and the Florida Turnpike Authority, as listed below: <br /> ǃ FDOT District 1 – Southwest Florida <br /> ǃ FDOT District 4 – Southeast Florida <br /> ǃ FDOT District 5 – Central Florida <br /> ǃ FDOT District 6 – South Florida <br /> ǃ FDOT District 7 – West Central Florida <br /> ǃ Florida Turnpike (“FDOT District 8”) <br />In addition to standard design services, EAC has also performed services as an extension of FDOT staff as exemplified in our Prime <br />Consultant Agreement for the Maintenance Engineering and Inspections Services Contract.
