RFQ #26-07-01 | 37 2.4.7 Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) EAC’s experience with the FDEP is primarily established along two lines of contact: Regulatory Approvals - EAC has coordinated, communicated, and interfaced with the regulatory arm of the FDEP as it relates to permitting and approvals of stormwater drainage underground injection wells through the FDEP Underground Injection Control (UIC) Program. Through this program, EAC has successfully obtained permits for more than ten underground gravity and pressurized wells for the purposes of stormwater disposal. For each of the approvals, EAC performed the required services to develop a Reasonable Assurance Report - documenting that the depth of disposal was sufficiently above the minimum concentration of total suspended solids in order to maintain the integrity of the potable drinking water aquifer. General Engineering Consultant Services - EAC was selected by the FDEP in 2015 and 2024 to serve as its consultant for the State Parks System. This contract covers a myriad of professional services required to maintain and upgrade state-owned parks and recreation facilities statewide. One of the major prerequisites for selection on this contract requires a demonstration of a full understanding of FDEP’s technical requirements and criteria. The contract is for miscellaneous continuing service with assignments issued on a task basis. 2.4.8 US Army Corp of Engineers EAC’s experience with the USACE in relation to permitting is based on coordination and approvals undertaken for several projects involving the surface water impacts for projects that are under or within USACE’s jurisdiction, such as large waterways (canals) or large impoundments. In addition, several projects for which we have sought Environmental Resource Permits have also undergone joint reviews by USACE. Our successful liaison with the agency has resulted in expedited approvals, even when several of our clients were unsure – due to the extensive permitting. 2.5 General Engineering Contract Experience with Public Agencies EAC is very familiar and well experienced with working on continuing services contracts public agencies.
