We have secured review approvals and have permitted roadway and bridge improvements - such as pavement markings, channelization, traffic signalization, stormwater designs, and roadway lighting projects with the agency. 2.4.3 Miami-Dade County Health Department EAC has extensive experience with Miami-Dade County Health Department’s Environmental Health and Engineering Division. This division’s primary goal is to assure a safe and healthy environment for Miami- Dade County - by providing review, oversight, and issuance of construction permits for infrastructure projects. EAC has secured the following types of permits from this department: • Water and Sanitary Sewer • Drinking Water Construction • Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System Application for Construction 2.4.4 Miami Dade Water and Sewer EAC has over 25 years of experience working with the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD), designing and permitting water and sewer projects for both public and private clients. We are thoroughly familiar with the steps and processes required to secure permits from MDWASD. 2.4.5 Miami Dade Fire Rescue Department EAC has extensive experience working with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department (MDFR) and its Fire Prevention Division. The Fire Prevention Division is responsible for conducting Certificate of Occupancy (CO) inspections for commercial facilities, including new developments and renovation projects. EAC coordinates with MDFR to obtain approvals for critical infrastructure improvements, including water main extensions, fire hydrant placement, site access and emergency ingress/egress features, fire suppression systems, and other fire protection requirements. We are thoroughly familiar with the steps and processes required to secure the approvals. 2.4.6 South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) EAC’s experience with the SFWMD dates back to 1994 on projects requiring SFWMD regulatory review for surface water management or water use permits. Since then, the relationship and familiarity with the SFWMD and its staff has progressed significantly into one that has become collaborative. In addition to securing approvals and permits for projects, EAC has performed services directly for the SFWMD as a prime consultant through several professional services contracts, and also as a subconsultant. Since 2015, we have served the District as Consultant Engineer on a multi-year continuing services contract - performing miscellaneous engineering design for the agency’s Operations, Maintenance, Rehabilitation, Restoration C Repair (OMRRCR) Program. EAC is thoroughly familiar with the District’s regulatory requirements for water control, stormwater management, water use, water consumption, water quality, and the preservation of natural ecosystems. Our engineers have successfully obtained permits for more than 100 projects from the SFWMD or one of its delegated water control districts or county agencies. Our successful permits have ranged from: • Environmental Resource Permits (ERPs) • Conceptual ERP Stormwater Master Plan Permits • General Permits • Minor Permit Modifications (“Letter Mods”) • Consumptive Water Use Permits • Right-of-Way Permits
