The existing facility
consisted of nine hard surface courts, a recently remodeled office/pro shop/restroom building
and a windowless storage building which was situated south of the main tennis building,
adjacent to an unpaved temporary parking area. The city intended to expand the facility to the
south, where there was a 0.75 AC open space, adding as many pickleball courts as possible as
well as adding a parking lot. The existing storage building on the east side of the existing open
space was identified to remain in place. Sidewalks and accessibility between the tennis facility
and the parking lot were to be accommodated in the design. All hard surface courts, including
pickleball, were designed with new rubberized surfacing. EAC’s assigned scope was for the
onsite civil engineering services required for paving, grading, stormwater drainage infrastructure
and pavement markings for the new parking lot and the proposed pickle ball courts.
North Bay Village Civic Park on East Drive- Phase 1; North Bay Village, Fl; Design 2022-
2023
CLIENT North Bay Village | ROLE Project manager and Civil Engineer
Project Manager for the Conceptual Site Plan for Civic Park on East Drive.
