RFQ #26-07-01 | 80 <br /> <br />John Neff, PE <br />LEAD CIVIL ENGINEER <br /> <br /> <br />Summary <br />John Neff, PE has more than 35 years of aviation, land development, transportation, building <br />design, coastal construction, drainage, power generation, site lighting, pump stations, water and <br />sewer services, parks and recreation, landscaping, permits, community involvement, as well as <br />peer reviews. He has exceptional diplomatic skills in dealing with adverse conditions requiring <br />attention to detail and is proficient in electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, geotechnical, and <br />architecture disciplines. Mr. Neff is also a veteran with the Seabees and remains involved in <br />local volunteer activities. <br /> Harbour House Apartments Site Improvements <br />CLIENT City of Bal Harbour / ROLE Project Engineer/Manager <br />Project Engineer/Manager to rehabilitate two high rise rental properties on the ocean. Project <br />included the addition of a stormwater pump system and the replacement of underground <br />utilities and the coordination of other consultants and utilities. Able to process multiple client <br />requests to meet advanced deadlines. <br />PB SWF Permanent Improvements <br />CLIENT Palm Beach County / ROLE Technical Advisor <br /> Working as a technical advisor to resolve construction and design issues for permitting and <br />construction. The client is developing approximately 10 acres in Palm Beach County at 10101 <br />100th Street S in Boynton Beach. Once developed, the site will accommodate dispatch of <br />garbage trucks, light maintenance, storage of garbage bins and dumpsters as well as employee <br />parking and truck washing stations. The existing conditions of the site are that of a landscape <br />nursery with less dense soils, no storm water containment, driveways constructed of limerock <br />base, two electrical services (single phase) on overhead power poles, two working shallow <br />wells, a modular trailer and a storm water lift station. Major components consist of demolition of <br />existing structures, a 3,000 square-foot warehouse, oil and sand separator, deck for office <br />trailers, subgrade stabilization for trucks parking, employee parking lot, storm water <br />improvements, and site concrete work. <br />Stormwater Improvements <br />CLIENT Town of Golden Beach / ROLE Resident Project Engineer <br />Resident Project Engineer for construction of stormwater improvements encompassing road <br />work and installation of an injection well pump system and outfalls. Project included the handling <br />of unique soil conditions and extensive coordination with the Town. Estimated construction cost <br />was $2.5 million. <br /> Traffic Calming Devices <br />CLIENT Village of Key Biscayne / ROLE Resident Project Engineer <br />Resident Project Engineer for design enhancements and conflict resolution for 15 traffic circles <br />and speed tables. Three different contractors were awarded portions of the contract which <br />included the integration of roadway and sidewalk improvements.
