<br />This project is intended to provide North Bay Village residents with direct access to Biscayne
<br />Bay waterways through the construction of a boating dock and kayak launch. North Bay Village
<br />intends to improve Civic Park’s recreational amenities through the addition of a new splash pad,
<br />bike racks, picnic areas, a nature trail packed with native flora and fauna as well as improved
<br />lighting, signage, and landscaping. EAC provided civil engineering services for the design,
<br />permitting and bid services for the project which included site and geometry plan, grading,
<br />drainage wells, water services and sewer lateral connection.
<br />Yaeger Plaza Development

<br />EAC provided civil engineering services for the Yeagar Plaza Development. The Yaeger Plaza
<br />Development is a proposed mixed-use residential and community facility located at 1177 NW
<br />62nd Street in Miami-Dade County, covering approximately 1.30 acres on the historic site of the
<br />Yaeger Clinic building established in 1958. Key features included a wellness clinic offering
<br />preventative medicine, dental, and maternity care; an educational center for career training; and
<br />a commerce hub for governmental, corporate, and entrepreneurial ventures. The development
<br />also included apartments for disabled veterans and seniors, a veteran’s rehab and training
<br />center, and an employment training and placement facility. EAC’s scope of work included Site
<br />plan approval, layout and geometry, site paving and grading, stormwater, SWPPP, water and
<br />sewer, signage and pavement markings, permitting and construction administration services.

<br />The facility includes a five-story office building of approximately 159,000 square feet, a multi-
<br />level parking structure for 185 vehicles, additional surface parking, landscaping, site lighting,
<br />and ancillary improvements. Located at the northwest corner of I-95 and Southern Boulevard,
<br />the site provides space for future growth and operational needs. The project aims to deliver a
<br />modern, resilient, and sustainable facility to support daily government functions. Provided civil
<br />engineering services during the program validation, schematic design, design development, and
<br />construction document phases. The scope included site layout, grading, drainage design,
<br />stormwater management, and utility coordination. Also addressed resiliency and sustainability
<br />requirements and prepared technical specifications. Additional responsibilities include
<br />permitting support, bid phase assistance, and construction administration services.
