RFQ #26-07-01 | 82 <br /> <br />Stephen McGrew, PE, PMP, DBIA <br />LEAD UTILITIES ENGINEER <br /> <br />Summary <br />Mr. McGrew has over 35 years of experience in infrastructure projects for the public sector. His <br />background in the civil and environmental engineering field includes capital improvements of <br />water, wastewater and reclaimed water treatment plant improvements and expansions for Palm <br />Beach County Water Utilities department (PBC WUD). He was project manager and/or engineer <br />of record for over 40 miles water and wastewater transmission mains and over 100 miles of <br />water distribution mains serving 6,600 properties. He also has extensive experience with <br />alternative delivery methods including both design-build and construction management at risk <br />(CMAR). He is experienced with master plans for water, wastewater and reclaimed water and <br />supervised hydraulic modeling for the Palm Beach County International Airport. <br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer District (WASD) Chorine Contact Tank (ST-2C) South District Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />CLIENT Miami-Dade Water and Sewer District (WASD) | ROLE Project Manager and <br />Engineer of Record <br />Project Manager and Engineer of Record responsible for design and construction of 735 linear <br />feet of 108” PCCP filtered effluent piping from the filters to the chlorine contact chamber and <br />relocation of storm water and potable piping. The 108” pipeline included flow metering and <br />chlorine injection for high level disinfection. <br />PBC WUD Water Treatment Plant No. 8 Force Main <br />CLIENT Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department | ROLE Project Manager and <br />Engineer of Record <br />Project Manager and Engineer of Record responsible for the planning, design and permitting of <br />a new force main consisting of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 12-inch DIP via the open cut <br />method and 300 linear feet of 12” DIP HDPE directional drill of the LWDD L-2 canal to replace <br />the existing 4” force main. The project was necessary for the anion exchange expansion to <br />dispose of brine and sanitary waste. <br />PBC WUD Water Treatment Plant No. 8 Belvedere Road Raw Water Main and Force Main <br />CLIENT Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department | ROLE Project Manager and <br />Engineer of Record <br />Project Manager and Engineer of Record responsible for the planning, design, permitting and <br />Engineer of record of a new raw water main and force main consisting of approximately 2,900 <br />linear feet of 24-inch DIP raw water main, 3,500 linear feet of 20-inch DIP raw water main with <br />aerial crossing of the LWDD E-3 canal, 1,100 linear feet of 16-inch DIP raw water main, 600 <br />linear feet of 12-inch raw water main and 3,800 linear feet of 12-inch DIP force main via the <br />open cut method. One mile of the 20” and 24” DIP raw water main was installed under the travel <br />lane of Belvedere Road.
