He is familiar with the production of design plans as well as the design required. <br />He has experience with Microstation and AutoCADD, Geopak roadway and quantity manager <br />to create automated computation books. <br />East Palm Drive Phase II <br />CLIENT City of Florida City | ROLE Design Technician <br />Canal Culverting and Roadway Design (East Palm Drive From US-1 to SW 172 Ave. The limit <br />of the project is from US1 to SW 172nd Avenue along East Palm Drive. The roadway is a four- <br />lane divided roadway (2 lanes in either direction), separated by the Florida City canal. The main <br />goal of the project is to increase the vehicular capacity of the existing roadway by backfilling the <br />existing canal to accommodate additional travel lanes to serve future developments with the <br />City. Responsible for producing 30% of plans for roadway plans, Cross Sections and Profile. <br />Modeling in 3D in Open Road. <br />North Cruise Boulevard Extension Phase III Bridge Flyover <br />CLIENT Port Miami | ROLE Design Technician <br />Design Technician for structural design of a two span continuous curved steel plate girder bridge <br />with a skew angle of approximately 40 degrees. Weathering steel Grade 70W is utilized for the <br />girders, which will be painted due to aggressive coastal conditions. <br />NE 79th Street Bridge Replacement Project <br />CLIENT FDOT District 6 / ROLE Design Technician <br />Design Technician for this Bridge replacement project along SR 934 / NE 79th Street Causeway <br />in North Bay Village. Project improvements include the replacement of four existing bridges with <br />two new bridges that are elevated to enhance resilience against sea level rise and incorporating <br />additional protection measures. The project also includes roadway widening, as well as <br />implementation of bicycle lanes, new sidewalk, curb-ramp and curb and gutter reconstruction, <br />drainage improvements, ADA upgrades, signalization and lighting improvements, signing and <br />marking upgrades, utility adjustments, subsurface utility engineering services, hydraulic <br />modeling, and environmental and drainage permitting. <br />SR 90 Tamiami Trail Modifications <br />CLIENT FDOT D6 | ROLE CADD Designer <br />Sr. Structural Engineer and EOR for the design of a 1-mile long bridge. The bridge has a typical <br />span of 80 feet, with a superstructure utilizing AASHTO Type IV beams and a substructure <br />consisting of and 24 inch square pre-stressed concrete piles. The project was designed on an <br />accelerated schedule and completed in 6 months. <br />US1/SR 5 Overseas Highway from Blue Isle Boulevard to N. of Beach Access <br />CLIENT FDOT D6 | ROLE Design Technician <br />Responsible for the production plans and prepared the computation book for the roadway plans <br />for milling and resurfacing of an existing two-lane facility as well as creating a paved northbound <br />shoulder paving to serve as an evacuation route from Blue Isle Boulevard to N. of Beach Access <br />(MM 59.9 to MM73.4) in the Florida Keys. <br />43 Years of Experience <br />Education <br />BS Civil Engineering - <br />Universidad Nacional Autonoma <br />de Nicaragua, Managua, <br />Nicaragua <br />
