The Quarry substation layout accommodates an expansion plan for <br />two additional 500kV lines, a second autotransformer and additional 230kV <br />lines, while also allowing space for future tertiary shunt reactors and 230kV <br />capacitor banks. <br />South Bay S ubstation – F lorida Power & L i ght <br />Performed substation design substation design for a new 230/138kV <br />transmission Substation within the existing 138/69kV substation – This new <br />portion of the station consisted of two (2) 230kV breaker & a half bays rated <br />for 3000 amps, autotransformer & three(2) 138kV bays rated 3000 amps <br />which connected to the existing 138kV bus in the station. <br />Verandah S ubstation – F lorida Power & L i ght <br />Performed protection and control design for a new 230kV transmission <br />switchyard consisting of four breaker and a half bays and two pre-fab vaults for <br />relay equipment and station battery. <br /> <br />6 t h A v e S u b s t a t i o n – C i t y o f L a k e W o r t h B e a c h <br />Performed protection and control design for a new 26kV switching station. <br />Design consisted of one regulator and four feeder breakers. <br />Festival S ubstation - F lorida Power & L i ght <br />Performed protection and control design for a new 230/13.8kV distribution <br />Substation with two 55MVA and two 13.8kV distribution feeders.
