RFQ 26-07-01 Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services
Forefront Architecture and Engineering
City of Sunny Isles Beach
9
Schedule to Proposed Services
FForefront understands that continuing
professional services require flexibility and the
ability to respond to assignments of varying
size, complexity, and schedule. Rather than
applying a one-size-fits-all schedule, Forefront
will develop a project specific schedule for
each assignment in coordination with the City’s
Project Manager.
Our Anticipated Approach:
1. Project Initiation: Meet with the City to
confirm project objectives, scope, priorities,
budget, schedule, and applicable requirements.
2. Existing Conditions and Information
Gathering: Review available documentation,
site conditions, existing facilities, applicable
codes, and other information necessary to
establish the project requirements.
3. Planning and Design: Develop appropriate
design solutions based on the City’s objectives,
project requirements, budget, and schedule.
4. Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate
architectural and engineering disciplines to
maintain consistency and identify potential
conflicts or issues early in the process.
5. Design Development and Documentation:
Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations,
and other required technical documents.
6. Quality Control and City Review: Complete
internal quality control reviews and incorporate
comments received from the City.
7. Permitting and Agency Coordination:
Assist with applicable permitting and regulatory
coordination as required by the assignment.
8. Final Documents and Construction
Support: Provide final deliverables and,
when included in the scope, construction
administration, observation, or other
construction phase services.
9. Project Closeout: Assist the City with final
project documentation and Requirements.
Task Order Process Example Workflow
Identify/Clarify Task Order Scope
Assemble the Team
Detailed Scope, Budget and Schedule
Task Order Kick Off Meeting
Technical Meetings/Discussions
Deliverables
Milestone Review Meetings
Task Completion
Task Closure/Performance Feedback
Forefront will establish specific milestones and
anticipated completion dates for each assignment
once the scope of work has been defined. The project
schedule will be actively monitored by the project
manager, and any potential impacts to established
deadlines will be communicated to the City promptly.
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
