Bennett, PG, PMP <br />Senior Geologist <br />Brooke Bennett is a geologist and certified Project Management Professional with over <br />15 years of consulting experience in environmental and hydrogeologic investigation <br />and remediation. She has specialized in management and implementation of complex <br />subsurface investigations and multi-disciplinary teams for a variety of industries including <br />former manufacturing plants (MGP), railroad facilities, active and former industrial/ <br />manufacturing sites and private commercial interests. <br />Her experience has included evaluations of various surface and subsurface media types <br />with teams to serve client’s environmental, geotechnical, and water resources needs. Her <br />focus is on eective management, eicient data collection, and innovate data analysis and <br />data presentation. <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Natural Spring Sites, Private Water Supply Company, Georgia, Texas, and South <br />Carolina. Project Manager and Geologist assessing natural spring water locations for bulk <br />bottling operations at various sites in the South. Projects consisted of site reconnaissance <br />to identify potential spring sources and assessment activities to understand water quantity, <br />water quality, and sustainability. Additional project activities include aquifer testing to <br />establish identity to spring sources and collect necessary data for evaluation of aquifer <br />transmissivity, specific yield, and production well design in compliance with State, FDA, and <br />AWWA standards. <br />Former Dry Cleaning Facility, Borden Dairy of Florida, LLC, Winter Haven, FL. Project <br />Geologist for a groundwater investigation of elevated chlorinated VOCs at a former dry <br />cleaning facility located on an active dairy processing and bottling plant. Geologist assisting with <br />due diligence and environmental assessments supporting a multi-phase waterfront <br />redevelopment project along the Washington Channel. Activities included groundwater <br />sampling, NPDES permit support, environmental assessments, and regulatory coordination. <br />Former Manufactured Gas Plant Site, City of Alexandria, Alexandria, VA. Project <br />Geologist evaluating MGP-related sediment impacts within the Potomac River to support <br />remedial design and bid package development. Conducted sediment investigations, data <br />gap analyses, conceptual site model refinement, and remediation planning. <br />Allied Paper/Portage Creek/Kalamazoo River Superfund Site, Plainwell and Otsego, <br />MI. Senior Geologist assisting a program to provide remedy for 10 miles of the Kalamazoo <br />River impacted PCB in sediment and floodplain soils as part of a Consent Decree. Assisting <br />multidisciplinary team with pre-design investigation activities, quality assurance/quality <br />control, and field optimization procedures.
