<br />impacts at an active manufacturing facility. Activities have
<br />included groundwater investigations, remediation strategy
<br />development, water supply well replacement, and surface
<br />water sampling coordination with regulators.
<br />Fiber Manufacturing Facility, Ansonville, NC. Senior
<br />Geologist supporting ongoing remediation through a large-
<br />scale groundwater pump-and-treat system consisting of
<br />extraction wells, air stripping, granular activated carbon
<br />treatment, and NPDES discharge compliance. GEI also
<br />conducted source area investigations, soil remediation design,
<br />construction oversight, and post-remediation monitoring.
<br />Proposed Power Plant Facility, Private Developer, New
<br />Jersey. Project Manager assisting a development team with
<br />groundwater permitting for a proposed power plant facility in
<br />the New Jersey Highlands Region. Tasks included evaluation
<br />of water supply wells, aquifer testing, well redevelopment,
<br />capacity assessments, and NJDEP permitting support.
<br />Former Manufactured Gas Plant, Major Northeast Utility,
<br />NY. Geologist performing environmental data evaluation
<br />across multiple sites following observations of NAPL impacts
<br />in an adjacent waterway. Activities included analysis of
<br />environmental data and development of 2D and 3D models to
<br />evaluate contaminant migration pathways to sediments.
<br />Various Asphalt, Textile, and Dry Cleaning Facilities,
<br />Multiple Cities, NC. Conducted groundwater and surface
<br />water investigation and monitoring activities. Responsibilities
<br />included environmental data management, groundwater
<br />modeling, contaminant migration evaluation, and remediation
<br />performance assessments.
<br />Active Quarry, 3M Pittsboro, NC. Project Geologist leading
<br />hydrogeologic investigations to determine season high water
<br />table and groundwater conditions supporting stormwater
<br />detention basin design. Activities included water-level
<br />monitoring, slug testing, and evaluation of subsurface
<br />hydraulic conditions.
<br />Former Manufactured Gas Plants, Major Northeast Utility,
<br />Elizabeth and Flemington, NJ. Geologist assisting remedial
<br />investigations and remedial action activities involving
<br />MGP-related constituents and NAPL. Activities included
<br />groundwater investigations, DNAPL delineation, hydrogeologic
<br />assessments, remediation planning, and regulatory reporting.

<br />Department of Community Development, Durham, NC.
<br />Project Manager for environmental assessments conducted in
<br />accordance with HUD environmental review requirements and
<br />ASTM Phase I ESA standards. Evaluated various environmental
<br />conditions including brownfields, soil vapor concerns, and
<br />groundwater impacts.

<br />Geologist assisting program management services for a large
<br />MGP remediation program. Activities included investigation
<br />review, remediation planning, contractor oversight support,
<br />bid package preparation, and remediation audits.
<br />Groundwater Monitoring, Former Railroad Fuel Rack Site,
<br />Norfolk Southern Corporation, Monroe, VA. Geologist for
<br />a semiannual groundwater monitoring program involving
<br />groundwater sampling, LNAPL gauging, data evaluation,
<br />reporting, and support of site closure activities.
<br />Former Railroad Site, Norfolk Southern Corporation,
<br />Lenoir City, TN. Project Geologist assisting remedial
<br />action activities following development of a sinkhole
<br />within an infiltration basin. Activities included geophysical
<br />investigations, groundwater evaluations, subsurface
<br />characterization, and sinkhole stabilization oversight.
<br />Remedial Investigations, Former Manufactured Gas Plant
<br />Sites, Duke Energy, High Point and Salisbury, NC. Geologist
<br />and field team leader supporting remedial investigations
<br />involving soil and groundwater impacts. Responsibilities
<br />included monitoring well installation, groundwater sampling,
<br />data analysis, and regulatory reporting.

<br />Refining, Yorktown, VA. Sta Geologist conducting soil
<br />and groundwater investigations at an active refinery facility.
