<br />Christopher Bradley provides experience in environmental services to a variety of clients,
<br />with a focus in utility and railroad sectors. Mr. Bradley is an environmental engineer and
<br />senior project manager of programs and projects that require environmental investigation,
<br />site characterization, remedial design, bid, procurement; oversight and management of
<br />long-term obligations including liability cost estimating, insurance recovery, and external
<br />reporting. Mr. Bradley is a Vice President at GEI. leading multidisciplinary environmental
<br />projects and supports clients with strategic, technical, and regulatory solutions tailored to
<br />their project objectives.
<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />Former Manufactured Gas Plant Remedial Design and Onsite Management, Confidential
<br />Client, FL. Site Manager responsible for remedial design, contracting, onsite construction
<br />management, and stakeholder and regulatory (State and Federal) interaction. Remedial
<br />measures included extensive shoring with sheetpile, dewatering by wellpoints, river
<br />coerdam construction, excavation/disposal of 70,000 tons of impacted material, and site
<br />restoration.
<br />Former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Program Management, Confidential Client,
<br />Multiple Sites, GA & FL. Responsible for program management of a former MGP site group
<br />of sites located in Florida and Georgia. Responsibilities included management of information
<br />and communications of multiple consultants working on developing budgets, semi-annual
<br />update of liabilities for internal and external reporting, communications to the Public Service
<br />Commission, monthly reporting, scheduling, and a resource to aid client with technical,
<br />stakeholder, and regulatory issues.
<br />Active Fish Camp Rail Facility, Confidential Client, FL. Project Manager responsible for
<br />permitting and local stakeholder relations related to all aspects of fueling over-water fueling
<br />facilities, stormwater conveyance, contracting and oversight of floating dock installation, and
<br />additional facility upgrades.
<br />Former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Site Remedial Investigation and
<br />Implementation, Confidential Client, NC. Project Manager responsible for remedial
<br />investigation and remedial action activities to delineate impacts in soil, groundwater, surface
<br />water, and sediments at the former MGP site, including wetland properties downgradient
<br />of the site and an adjacent creek. Onsite remediation included dewatering and excavation
<br />supported by benching, sloping, and modular shoring. Osite impacts did not require
<br />active remediation as concluded in the human health risk assessment and a levels 1through
<br />3 ecological risk assessment. Mr. Bradley’s duties also included regulatory, legal, and
<br />stakeholder relations, technical oversight, preparation of engineering estimates, liability
<br />cost estimating and insurance recovery support, strategy development, and providing
<br />information related to the site for client internal and external reporting. Currently the site is
<br />in a period of post-remediation groundwater monitoring with monitored natural attenuation
<br />the likely remedy with property-use restrictions recorded in deed notices.
<br />Canal and Wetlands Former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP), Confidential Client,
<br />Valdosta, SC. Project Manager responsible for remedial design, contracting, and
<br />implementation of a soil and sediment removal action to address coal tar residuals, canal
<br />and wetland restoration, management of a groundwater monitoring program land treatment
<br />site, and design, installation, and operation of a groundwater remediation system. Also
<br />served as Site Manager during previous onsite excavation, transport, and disposal of 60,000
<br />tons of MGP impacted soils.
<br />Expedited Site Remediation Under the North Carolina Department of Environment
<br />and Natural Resources Registered Environmental Consultant Program, Confidential
<br />Client, NC. Project Manager responsible for an expedited remediation project at an
<br />electric utility’s former service center, with project completion and No Further Action
<br />status achieved. Remediation consisted of excavation and o-site disposal of 4,000 tons of
