She provides structural design, inspections, and
evaluations for various infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with
applicable codes and standards. Mrs. Ferreiras is skilled in performing
structural assessments and calculations for complex facilities, working
closely with contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Her deep
understanding of structural requirements consistently contributes to
successful project delivery. As an Assistant Engineer, she has
demonstrated exceptional technical expertise in delivering high-quality
results across a range of projects.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

2224 Pierce St (Hollywood, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras prepared a complete set of civil engineering plans for
the installation of approximately 335 linear feet of gravity sewer line
connecting the project site to the City of Hollywood sewer system.
Her responsibilities included the design of sixteen lateral
connections, water service details, paving and drainage systems, as
well as the preparation of all required documentation for the FDOT
permitting process. The civil plans developed by Mrs. Ferreiras
incorporated the location of existing and proposed potable water and
sewer infrastructure, points of connection, proposed easements,
estimated flows and calculations, and schematic layouts for water
distribution, sewage collection, and drainage systems. Her design
addressed piping alignments, manholes, lift stations, drainage
outfalls, flow directions, private road grading, floor elevations, and
stormwater management requirements. Additionally, she detailed
storm drainpipes, headwalls, manholes, swales, and catch basins,
ensuring full compliance with South Florida Water Management
District regulations. Site inspections were conducted during
construction, and final certification was issued in accordance with
city requirements.

Dolphin Linear Park - Walkway Lighting and Fitness Equipment
EDP-PR-21030322001 (Miami Gardens, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras prepared a set of drawings and calculations for six
fitness equipment stations, one cooling station, and six lighting pole
base structures. The civil drawings included paving and drainage for
the fitness equipment stations, water connection and distribution for
the cooling station and hose bib, and all necessary utility
coordination. Additionally, a preliminary cost estimate and
specifications were provided to prepare the completed bid package.

Blanche Ely High School Bus Loop Renovation (Pompano
Beach, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras assisted with the preparation of a set of civil drawings
for the re-grading, re-paving, and installation of a new drainage
system for the reconstruction and expansion of the existing bus
drop-off area. The scope also included the installation of a new
aluminum walkway, construction of two additional walkways for the
proposed bus drop-off, and structural plans for the new screen wall
to enclose the existing cooling towers
