<br />Mrs. Ferreiras prepared a set of civil drawings and calculations for the paving, grading, drainage, and
<br />water and sewer connection design for a new childcare facility to be built at Flamingo Park on Miami
<br />Beach.
<br />
<br />Rojo Bros, LLC Building Office (Miami, FL)
<br />As the Lead Coordinator for a civil and construction project, Mrs. Ferreiras played a critical role in the
<br />development of stormwater drain improvements, new water and sewer connections, paving, and sloping.
<br />She coordinated survey efforts and collaborated closely with the surveying team to collect field data. Her
<br />team employed hybrid solutions, including pervious concrete and trench drains, to reduce runoff and
<br />enable groundwater recharge. In addition to her coordination efforts, Mrs. Ferreiras was instrumental in
<br />the Right of Way (R/W) mapping process, assisting with survey topography, horizontal and vertical
<br />controls, and R/W design and easements. She also reviewed survey designs and R/W for several ingress
<br />and egress roadways.

<br />Pump Station W1 (Miami Beach, FL)
<br />Mrs. Ferreiras managed structural design for slab supports, equipment framing, and access features.
<br />Ensured compliance with Miami-Dade Water and Sewer standards and local codes. She oversaw
<br />preparation and timely delivery of 30%, 90%, and 100% construction documents.

<br />FLL Westside Water Main Expansion Loop (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
<br />Mrs. Ferreiras was part of the team that provided a set of structural plans and calculations for a manhole
<br />designed to house an Air Release Valve (ARV). The structural designs included the foundation, slab, and
<br />walls of the manhole to withstand a wheel load of 75,000 pounds and a hydrostatic load of 62.4 pounds
<br />per cubic foot. The design complied with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements.

<br />Pump Stations 536- 1310- Westwood Lakes Maintenance Facility with Pump Station 683 (Miami,
<br />FL)
<br />Mrs. Ferreiras prepared structural drawings and supporting calculations as part of a flood mitigation and
<br />impact protection solution for the facilities. Her responsibilities also included conducting site visits to
<br />gather field data and developing a basis for design reports. All work was completed in full compliance
<br />with Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department standards, as well as all applicable codes and
<br />regulations.

<br />Pump Station W-2 (Miami Beach, FL)
<br />Mrs. Ferreiras served as Project Manager for the structural engineering design of the Storm Proof Pump
<br />Station W-2 in Miami Beach, FL. She oversaw the development of structural plans for new slab supports
<br />for generators, pumps, motors, and HVAC equipment, as well as the structural framing for new doors,
<br />windows, and louvers. Mrs. Ferreiras ensured the design met Public Works standards, Miami Dade Water
<br />and Sewer Department requirements, and all applicable local codes. She managed the preparation and
<br />coordination of 30%, 90%, and 100% construction documents, as well as bid-ready deliverables, ensuring
<br />quality and timely submission throughout all project phases.

<br />Deerfield Beach Middle School (Deerfield Beach, FL)
<br />Mrs. Ferreiras played a key role in preparing civil plans for connecting Building 1's sprinkler system and
<br />roof drainage leaders to the existing stormwater collection pipes. She meticulously reviewed the available
<br />record drawings and existing specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally,
<br />Mrs. Ferreiras conducted a special-purpose topographic survey, focused specifically on the client's
<br />designated boundary areas, to provide accurate civil details and underground utility plans. As an
<br />Assistant Civil Engineer, Mrs. Ferreiras demonstrated her technical expertise and attention to detail,
<br />delivering high-quality results for the project.
