<br />GEI provides specialized environmental, coastal, and waterfront engineering services for public agencies, backed by
<br />more than 50 years of experience supporting coastal infrastructure and shoreline resilience projects. Our multidisciplinary
<br />team integrates coastal, civil, structural, environmental, and geotechnical expertise to address the technical, regulatory, and
<br />constructability challenges associated with Florida's marine environments.
<br />For the City of Sunny Isles Beach, GEI offers comprehensive services including environmental monitoring and mitigation,
<br />environmental studies and reporting, shoreline stabilization, seawall assessment and rehabilitation, coastal engineering design,
<br />permitting support, marine inspections, underwater engineering, hydrographic and bathymetric surveying, coastal modeling,
<br />construction administration, and feasibility evaluations for waterfront and intracoastal projects.
<br />Our extensive experience with coastal processes, environmental compliance, marine infrastructure, sea level rise adaptation,
<br />and multi-agency permitting enables us to deliver resilient, cost-effective solutions that support the City’s ongoing and future
<br />environmental and coastal engineering needs.
<br />Workload Share:
<br />• GEI will serve as the Prime Consultant and will perform more than 30% of the total contract work. GEI will self-perform
<br />the majority (approximately 85%) of the professional services required under this contract, including project management,
<br />environmental, coastal, engineering, permitting, and geotechnical services.
<br />• As a subconsultant, Conemco is anticipated to perform approximately 15% of the contract work.
<br />• GEI will not utilize a geotechnical design subconsultant, as all geotechnical services will be provided by our in-house team.
