<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Continuing Services Contract, Sunny Isles Beach, FL: Client
<br />Service Manager. Provides executive-level support and client service oversight for the
<br />City’s continuing services program. Works closely with City staff and project leaders
<br />to coordinate multidisciplinary assignments involving parks, public spaces, resiliency
<br />planning, transportation, survey, civil engineering, and municipal infrastructure
<br />improvements. Responsibilities include client engagement, resource coordination,
<br />strategic project support, and facilitation of task-order-based project delivery.
<br />Representative projects include Bella Vista Park, Town Center Park, Ritz Carlton Site
<br />Park, Intracoastal Park, the Vulnerability Assessment Grant Application, and other City
<br />improvement initiatives.
<br />Champlain Tower South Surfside Memorial, Surfside, FL: Project Manager. Serves
<br />as Project Manager for the planning, design, and implementation of the Champlain
<br />Tower South Memorial. The project includes extensive public outreach, stakeholder
<br />engagement, multidisciplinary coordination, and agency permitting within a
<br />sensitive coastal environment. Responsibilities include project management, client
<br />coordination, stakeholder communication, and support of project delivery from
<br />planning through construction.
<br />Strategic Engineering Support for Flood Mitigation Efforts, Pembroke Park, FL: Project
<br />Manager. Provided engineering strategic support services assisting the Town with
<br />flood mitigation and emergency preparedness planning initiatives. Responsibilities
<br />included evaluation of existing emergency operations plans, flood and storm
<br />vulnerability assessments, coordination with emergency management agencies,
<br />grant strategy support, and development of recommendations to strengthen flood
<br />mitigation and emergency response efforts.
<br />Town of Surfside Abbott Avenue Drainage Improvements Final Design – Phase II,
<br />Surfside, FL: Principal. Provided leadership and oversight for a drainage improvement
<br />project that included survey, subsurface utility engineering, civil engineering, FDOT
<br />coordination, bidding assistance, and construction program management services.
<br />Responsibilities included client coordination, project oversight, multidisciplinary team
<br />management, and support of project delivery through design and implementation.
<br />Village of Pinecrest Gary Matzner Park, Pinecrest, FL: Project Executive. Supports
<br />delivery of a municipal park development project planned as a gateway feature for
<br />the Village of Pinecrest. The project includes recreational amenities, public spaces,
<br />landscape improvements, and coordination among multiple engineering and design
<br />disciplines. Responsibilities include executive oversight, client engagement, and
<br />support of multidisciplinary team coordination
<br />Greg Chavarria, PMP, CISSP, serves as Client Service Manager and provides executive-
<br />level support to municipalities throughout Miami-Dade County. With more than
<br />25 years of local government experience, including service as a South Florida city
<br />manager, Greg oversees client communication, resource coordination, and contract
<br />responsiveness. His background in municipal operations, capital improvement
<br />programs, resiliency initiatives, and public infrastructure allows him to effectively align
<br />specialized technical resources with client priorities.
