WERP R1 CR-835 Panther Crossing, South Florida Water Management District <br />(SFWMD), Hendry County, FL: Project Surveyor. Provided survey leadership <br />supporting the Western Everglades Restoration Project (WERP) Panther Crossing <br />initiative in Hendry County. Responsibilities included oversight of boundary <br />determination, topographic corridor surveys, subsurface utility engineering (SUE) <br />investigations, and survey coordination supporting development of a Pre-Design <br />Technical Memorandum for roadway improvements, wildlife fencing, and a regional <br />wildlife crossing. Coordinated survey deliverables, utility investigations, and data <br />management activities within an active SFWMD right-of-way environment. <br />MacArthur Causeway 30-Inch Water Transmission Main, Miami-Dade County, FL: <br />Project Manager. Managed surveying and subsurface utility engineering services <br />supporting design of a major water transmission main corridor from Watson Island <br />to Terminal Island. Responsibilities included topographic surveying, right-of-way and <br />easement research, utility designation, vacuum excavation investigations, project <br />coordination, and delivery of survey base mapping supporting utility design activities. <br />Plantation Heritage Community Canal Survey, Plantation, FL: Project Manager. <br />Managed hydrographic surveying services supporting evaluation of municipal canal <br />infrastructure within Broward County. Responsibilities included supervising depth <br />soundings, canal cross-section surveys, bathymetric mapping, and data processing <br />efforts supporting drainage analysis, water attenuation studies, and flood management <br />planning initiatives. <br />SR 5/US 1 Shared-Use Path Ecologically Regulated Corridor Survey, FDOT District <br />Four, FL: Project Manager. Managed professional surveying and mapping services <br />supporting design of a shared-use path along a 5.9-mile corridor adjacent to <br />environmentally sensitive areas. Responsibilities included boundary determinations, <br />topographic mapping, corridor survey management, and coordination of survey data <br />supporting transportation design and permitting efforts. <br />I-75 Design-Build Big Cypress Basin Corridor Widening, FDOT District One, FL: <br />Project Surveyor. Provided survey leadership supporting a design-build widening <br />project along I-75 within the Big Cypress Basin. Responsibilities included geodetic <br />control establishment, topographic corridor surveying, cross-section data collection, <br />survey coordination, and preparation of mapping products supporting roadway, <br />drainage, and environmental design activities. <br />Plantation Park Roadway and Drainage Design Survey, Plantation, FL: Project <br />Manager. Managed boundary, topographic, utility, and construction staking surveys <br />supporting municipal roadway and drainage improvements within a public park <br />system. <br />Bryan Merritt, PSM, will serve as Survey & Mapping Lead for the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach. With 43 years of experience, he leads surveying, mapping, utility locating, and <br />geospatial services for municipal, transportation, aviation, drainage, and infrastructure <br />projects throughout Florida. His experience includes boundary, topographic, <br />hydrographic, right-of-way, control, and utility surveys supporting planning, design, <br />permitting, and construction activities.
