29IWFLFTLD016838.2026 <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES <br />(CCNA) RFQ # 26-07-01 <br />CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />Dade Boulevard, 17th Street and Bay Road Intersection Improvements <br />Traffic signal timing was upgraded to fully actuated by adding two (2) new cameras for vehicle detection on Dade <br />Boulevard, one facing the north-eastbound direction, and installing a crosswalk at the NE side of the intersection with a <br />pedestrian connection to the existing bridge. <br />Dates of Service: 2019–2022 <br />North Michigan Avenue at W 47th Street and W 42nd Street Traffic Circles <br />Traffic calming engineering services for two roundabouts in the Nautilus Neighborhood at the intersections of North <br />Michigan Avenue/West 47th Street and North Michigan Avenue/Nautilus Drive/West 42nd Street. The engineering <br />services included performance evaluations of the intersections, construction documents, meetings, coordination, field <br />visits, an opinion of probable cost, and post-design. The performance evaluation of the intersections contains the fastest <br />path analysis, a swept path evaluation, and sight distance evaluation. The construction documents consist of roadway, <br />signing and pavement marking, pavement, drainage, and landscape designs. <br />Dates of Service: 2024–Ongoing <br />Pine Tree and 46th Street Roundabout <br />Kimley-Horn performed Traffic Operational Analysis and analyzed the installation of a roundabout to serve as a traffic <br />calming treatment. Kimley-Horn also performed Roundabout Conceptual Design and Operational Analysis; Traffic Data <br />Collection; and Preliminary Opinion of Probable Cost. <br />Dates of Service: 2020–2022 <br />Pavement and Sidewalk Condition Assessment <br />Kimley-Horn is conducting a citywide pavement and sidewalk assessment for the City’s 124 miles of roadway network, <br />203 miles of sidewalks, and more than 5,000 curb ramps. The program prioritized all streets and sidewalks based on <br />several factors such as condition and proximity to key locations and districts. Kimley-Horn’s proprietary DRIVE Software <br />is being used to manage and customize the pavement data for cost-effective solutions. <br />Dates of Service: 2022–2025
