<br />STORMWATER MASTER PLAN, MEDLEY, FL — Project Engineer. Contributed
<br />to the Town’s Stormwater Master Plan by evaluating flooding challenges
<br />associated with a high groundwater table, the Florida East Coast Railway
<br />corridor, and projected sea level rise. Performed stormwater modeling and
<br />analysis to prioritize 12 flood-prone areas, develop improvement alternatives,
<br />support grant funding efforts, and incorporate sea level rise projections to
<br />enhance long-term flood resilience.
<br />SHORES ESTATES DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, MIAMI SHORES
<br />VILLAGE, FL — Project Manager. Providing professional engineering services
<br />for the design and construction of a drainage collection system with water
<br />quality treatment measures for the residential neighborhood known as Shores
<br />Estates. Improvements consist of underground piping, a stormwater pump
<br />station, and an outfall connection to the adjacent canal system. Professional
<br />services include surveying, stormwater analysis, civil and electrical engineering
<br />design, landscaping and irrigation, permitting, coordinating with utility providers,
<br />preparing quantity calculations, and engineer’s estimates of probable costs.
<br />SW 82ND AVENUE (SUB-BASIN 59/60) PAVING AND DRAINAGE
<br />IMPROVEMENTS, PALMETTO BAY, FL — Project Manager. Supported the
<br />design and permitting of roadway and drainage improvements to address flooding
<br />within Drainage Basin 59-60. Performed hydraulic analyses and developed
<br />drainage solutions for multiple local roadways while contributing to roadway
<br />resurfacing plans, construction documents, and traffic control strategies that
<br />minimized impacts to residents and maintained public safety during construction.
<br />MIAMI LAKEWAY NORTH RESURFACING AND DRAINAGE
<br />IMPROVEMENTS, A FEDERALLY FUNDED DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT,
<br />MIAMI LAKES, FL — Project Engineer. Provided drainage design and utility
<br />coordination for a roadway and stormwater improvement project that secured
<br />over $600,000 in stimulus funding. Developed drainage enhancements, including
<br />stormwater inlets, an outfall connection, and exfiltration trenches to improve
<br />stormwater quantity and quality management, while supporting associated
<br />pedestrian and roadway upgrades. Also provided construction-phase services to
<br />help ensure timely delivery and compliance with project design criteria.
<br />SW 212TH STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CUTLER BAY, FL
<br />Project Engineer. Supported the design and permitting of drainage improvements
<br />to alleviate flooding along SW 212th Street and maintain access to Cutler
<br />Bay Senior High School during major storm events. Developed a drainage
<br />system featuring an exfiltration trench and outfall to the L-31E Canal, including
<br />coordination for a crossing through a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers levee, and
<br />assisted with permitting through Miami-Dade County and SFWMD.
