Longitude Surveyors performed surveying and Subsurface Utility Engineering services along NW
44th Street in Sunrise, Florida, including control, topographic survey, and corridor mapping referenced to NAD83/2011
and NAVD88. The work also included thirty seven soft dig investigations to verify existing utilities, supported by GPR
designation, Sunshine 811 coordination, and preparation of Verified Vertical Elevation and Horizontal Location reports to
support design.
Seawall Replacement at Rue Notre Dame, City of Miami Beach, Miami
Beach, FL
Greg Bouie, PSM served as Project Manager, overseeing survey control, field coordination, topographic and bathymetric
surveying, and Quality Level A and B (QLA/QLB) Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations. He managed
quality control, verified underground utilities, and ensured the accurate delivery of survey data to support the seawall
replacement design.
Water Main Replacement along Holiday DR, City of Hallandale Beach, Hallandale Beach, FL
Greg Bouie, PSM served as Project Manager for the SUE portion of the project, overseeing field operations, coordinating
utility designation and soft-dig activities, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of the verified utility
data. Longitude Surveyors performed Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services in accordance with ASCE standards,
including Quality Level B utility designation and Quality Level A soft-dig verification for up to twenty (20) locations.
Surface geophysical methods, including an electromagnetic locator and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), were used to
designate underground utilities prior to performing vertical vacuum holes to confirm the utilities’ horizontal location,
elevation, size, material type, and direction. Soft-dig locations were coordinated through Sunshine 811 and referenced to
NAVD88. Longitude also prepared a Vertical Vacuum Hole (VVH) report documenting the verified utility information.
Bridge Structural Engineering, L-31E Barrow Canal & L-31E Biscayne Trail (Bridges 874479 and 874480), Miami-Dade
County Department of Transportation, Miami, FL
Greg Bouie, PSM served as Project Manager for the boundary, topographic, and bathymetric survey of DTPW Bridges
874479 and 874480 along the L-31E Barrow Canal and L-31E Biscayne Trail in Miami. He managed project planning,
coordinated field and office teams, supervised survey control and georeferencing, ensured quality control, and served as
the primary client contact to deliver accurate survey data supporting the bridge improvement project.
City of Ft. Lauderdale Fire Station No. 88 , Ft. Lauderdale, FL
reg Bouie, PSM served as Project Manager for the topographic survey and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services
for Fire Station 88 in the City of Fort Lauderdale. He oversaw field operations, survey control, utility designation, project
scheduling, and quality control, while serving as the primary client contact to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
supporting the station’s design and development.
Riviera Beach Water Treatment Plant, City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach, FL
Greg Bouie, PSM served as Project Manager for the topographic, bathymetric, and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)
survey. He coordinated field and office operations, oversaw survey control and utility investigations, and managed
the collection of topographic, bathymetric, and underground utility data. Greg also directed quality control, ensured
compliance with project requirements, and served as the primary client contact, delivering accurate survey information
to support the project’s design, permitting, and engineering efforts.
Alexander Orr Water Treatment Plant, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer, Miami, FL
Greg Bouie, PSM served as Project Manager for the Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services at the Alexander Orr
Water Treatment Plant. He oversaw utility designation activities, coordinated field and office operations, managed data
integration and survey control, and performed quality control to ensure the accurate mapping of existing underground
utilities. Greg also ensured compliance with MDWASD requirements and the timely delivery of reliable survey data to
support future design and construction activities.
