He
analyzed field data, developed mapping deliverables, verified survey accuracy, and performed quality control to ensure
the final survey information accurately represented existing site conditions and supported the project’s planning and
design efforts.
Bridge Structural Engineering, L-31E Barrow Canal & L-31E Biscayne Trail (Bridges 874479 and 874480), Miami-Dade
Department of Transportation and Public Works Miami, FL
Carlos Cuneo served as the Survey Data Analyst for this project, processing and managing survey data collected for
the boundary analysis, topographic survey, and bathymetric survey of the project area. He analyzed field data related
to horizontal and vertical control, boundary evidence, rights-of-way, aboveground features, and bathymetric sonar
measurements, ensuring all information was accurately referenced to the Florida State Plane Coordinate System
(NAD83/2011) and NGVD29. Carlos performed quality control on the survey deliverables, including bridge and canal
cross-section data, providing accurate mapping and survey information to support project planning and engineering
design.
Highway Engineering Services - South Bayshore Drive from Darwin Street to Mercy Way, Miami-Dade Department of
Transportation and Public Works Miami, FL
Carlos Cuneo served as the Survey Data Analyst for this project, processing and managing survey data collected for the
topographic and bathymetric surveys along South Bayshore Drive from Darwin Street to Mercy Way. He analyzed field
data for the Digital Terrain Model (DTM), elevation collection, roadway features, inverts, and wetlands delineation,
while processing bathymetric sonar data to accurately depict water surface elevations, sediment depths, mudlines, and
underwater conditions. Carlos performed quality control on all survey deliverables, ensuring accurate mapping and
reliable data to support project planning and design.
SO-8 Proferssional Services, East Drive Connection 1 and the Curtiss Parkway Connection 2, Miami-Dade County
Aviation Department, Miami, FL
Carlos Cuneo served as Survey Data Analyst, supporting the processing and management of survey data, preparation of
CAD files, mapping, and project deliverables. For the East Drive Connection 1 and Curtiss Parkway Connection 2 project
along NW 36 Street (SR 948), he integrated survey control and topographic data, assisted with the development of the
Digital Terrain Model (DTM), and ensured all data referenced to NAD83/11 and NAVD88 was accurately incorporated into
the final deliverables supporting project planning and design.
Fuel Storage Facility Expansion, Miami-Dade County Aviation Department, Miami, FL
In his role as Survey Data Analyst, Carlos Cuneo supported the Miami International Airport Fuel Farm Expansion project
by processing utility designation data and preparing mapping and CAD deliverables. His responsibilities included
organizing field-collected information, integrating utility designation data into survey files, maintaining project databases,
and assisting with the production of final deliverables. The project included Quality Level B Subsurface Utility Engineering
(SUE) services performed in accordance with ASCE standards, utilizing electromagnetic locating equipment and Ground
Penetrating Radar (GPR) to designate and verify existing underground utilities at nine boring locations. Carlos assisted in
compiling and mapping utility information to support the identification of potential utility conflicts and provide accurate
data for project planning and design.
Carlos Cuneo
Senior Survey Technician
