Miller Legg has <br />led significant public involvement efforts, <br />carried out required regulatory agency <br />permitting, coordinated bidding <br />activities and conducted construction <br />administration efforts. Our design <br />philosophy ensures the City’s vision, <br />in correlation with the desires of the <br />stakeholders, the existing natural <br />and built environments, as well <br />as a project’s sustainability and <br />maintenance requirements. <br />DESIGN PROCESS <br />When addressing any landscape <br />architecture project, Miller Legg <br />evaluates the project using a <br />select method of steps to achieve <br />the highest quality deliverables for our <br />clients. Implementation and <br />Construction <br />1 Evaluation of Existing <br />Conditions: <br />This step establishes <br />the project’s pre-existing <br />constraints and improvement <br />opportunities. Prior to design, <br />we review existing infrastructure, <br />community content, pedestrian <br />/ vehicular use, climate, adjacent <br />improvements, linkages and <br />project’s relationship to the <br />City’s vision. These conditions <br />are noted and graphically <br />prepared to identify relational <br />and spatial opportunities for <br />the project design. Existing on-site improvements are <br />analyzed for condition and potential impact upon future <br />enhancements. We also evaluate the project site so <br />that any inconspicuous conditions are recorded before <br />design efforts begin.
