FIRM OVERVIEW <br />Kimley-Horn is a full-service, multidisciplinary consulting firm providing planning, engineering, structural, landscape <br />architecture, and environmental services to public- and private-sector clients. The firm was founded in 1967 as a three-person <br />transportation planning and traffic engineering firm in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has since grown into one of the largest and <br />fastest-growing full-service consulting firms in the country. <br />Kimley-Horn established its Florida presence in 1968 with the opening of its West Palm Beach office to serve local utilities. In <br />the early 1970s, the firm built a strong reputation in regional and urban area transportation planning, traffic impact analysis, <br />parking planning and design, traffic control system design, and statewide and local traffic operations and safety studies. <br />During this period, the firm also expanded its service offerings to include structural, highway, and bridge design, as well as <br />airport planning and design. <br />Today, Kimley-Horn has more than 10,000 employees in more than 170 offices across the United States and Puerto Rico, <br />offering a full range of consulting services to local, regional, national, and international clients. In Florida alone, the firm <br />has more than 1,700 employees in 27 offices.
