Projects under this contract include: <br />NPDES MS-4 Monitoring and Reporting: KEITH is responsible for providing <br />professional engineering services for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination <br />Systems (NPDES) and Stormwater Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance Reporting <br />to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) on behalf of the Town. <br />KEITH is responsible for processing the required annual reporting of the Town’s <br />current NPDES MS-4 Permit to FDEP. <br />Abbott Avenue Phase 1 and Phase 2 Drainage Improvements: KEITH assisted with <br />drainage improvements on Abbott Avenue between 90th Street and 96th Street. <br />KEITH provided services including civil engineering and utility coordination. The <br />KEITH Team evaluated and assessed the existing stormwater drainage conditions, <br />prepared reports and cost estimates from ICPR models and calculations for seven <br />improvement options, and presented the conclusions for the selection of the best <br />and most cost-effective solution. KEITH also evaluated existing land use development <br />codes, stormwater ordinances, and MS-4 reporting with recommendations and <br />ordinance revisions for compliance and exceedance of federal, state, and local <br />requirements. Sea level rise projections in accordance with Southeast Florida Regional <br />Climate Change Compact were considered in assessments. Phase II proceeded with <br />the development of construction documents and permit processing. KEITH assisted <br />in securing a 2022 FDEP Flooding and Sea Level Resiliency Grant to cover most of the <br />estimated construction costs. <br />MD-RER Sanitary Sewer Certification: KEITH provided civil engineering services for <br />the 5-Year Update certification required by Miami-Dade County. KEITH conducted <br />reviews of the exisiting sanitary sewer and tranmission model and supplied <br />information regarding upgrades and modifications to the Town. <br />49
