<br />Continuing Professional Consulting Services
<br />Rodriguez Architects, Inc. – Scope of Professional Services
<br />Rodriguez Architects, Inc. provides comprehensive architectural, planning, and consulting services to
<br />support the City of Sunny Isles needs. Services as indicated in the RFQ have been performed by RAI for
<br />other clients and/or agencies as follows:
<br />• Architectural planning, programming, feasibility studies, design, interior design, landscape
<br />architecture coordination, space planning, cost estimating, and construction phase services for
<br />renovations, additions, and new construction projects.
<br />• Preparation of complete construction documents, including drawings, technical specifications, and
<br />related design deliverables for buildings, facilities, and other municipal projects.
<br />• Building and site inspections, plan reviews, and code compliance evaluations.
<br />• Development of feasibility analyses, planning studies, and preliminary project assessments.
<br />• Preparation of preliminary and detailed construction cost estimates throughout project
<br />development.
<br />• Preparation of construction solicitation and bidding documents.
<br />• Construction administration services, including project oversight and coordination, as authorized by
<br />the City.
<br />• Preparation, submission, and coordination of permit applications and permitting processes.
<br />• Bidding assistance and support during contractor procurement and selection.
<br />• Preparation, processing, and administration of grant applications and related funding
<br />documentation.
<br />• Preparation and maintenance of computerized mapping systems, records management, and
<br />geospatial information.
<br />• Surveying coordination, aerial mapping, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services.
<br />• General architectural and technical plan review services.
<br />• Preparation of financial, economic, and rate studies in support of municipal projects and planning
<br />initiatives.
<br />• Delivery of project plans utilizing the latest AutoCAD platform, including reproducible electronic and
<br />hard-copy documentation as required by the City.
<br />• Professional consultation and advisory services on architectural, planning, and development
<br />matters.
<br />• Assistance with the development and updating of City ordinances, codes, standards, regulations,
<br />and policies.
<br />• Service as the City's designated architectural representative, when requested, including review of
<br />development applications, preparation of compliance comments, participation in Design Review
<br />Committee meetings, permit recommendations, and attendance at pu blic or staff meetings.
<br />• Performance of miscellaneous architectural, planning, and consulting assignments as directed by
<br />the City Manager.
<br />These services are essential to the City because municipal projects often require a coordinated range of
<br />planning, design, technical review, permitting, bidding, funding, construction administration, and advisory
<br />support. Under a continuing contract, the City benefits from having a qualified architectural team available
