Shewairy began his architectural career in 1994 <br />at Rodriguez Architects, Inc. After leaving the firm in 2009, <br />David returned in 2020 and has once again taken an <br />active role in all projects, including project management <br />and workflow/production. He has participated in all <br />phases of project development and will also be <br />responsible for project deliverables. In total, David <br />possesses over 30 years of design and project <br />management experience in South Florida. <br /> <br />Mr. Shewairy has extensive experience as the owner’s <br />representative in the hospitality and higher education <br />fields. He has overseen the design and construction of <br />more than one hundred name brand restaurants nation- <br />wide. David was the Project Manager on numerous higher <br />education projects and has worked with annual Capital <br />budgets of over $200 million and $20 million annual <br />deferred maintenance programs while at the University <br />of Miami. The experience gained from working as the <br />Owner’s representative, gives him a different <br />appreciation with to the Owner’s needs, goals and <br />necessity in maintaining budgets and schedules. <br /> <br />Mr. Shewairy has real-word knowledge of how to design <br />and build places of higher education and we believe this <br />“know how” will be invaluable for the successful <br />completion of these projects.
