APPROACH/METHODOLOGY RFQ 26-07-01 Continuing Professional Consulting Services Approach Inclusive participation, identifying needs, and finding the best solution is the RAI approach. At RAI, we understand the importance of an inclusive process, where all stakeholders are involved. This process will provide a starting and continuous dialogue with the City of Sunny Isles Beach to understand each project’s character and specifics under this contract. Direct participation by owners and users is crucial to each project’s success. Our team has vast experience and the ability to provide thorough Architectural and Engineering Services that, when coupled with the client’s active participation, will establish a focused study of needs that will help determine the most desirable design options. Our approach promotes a greater understanding of the completed project long before the construction begins. We evaluate every design option in terms of its impact on program , budget and schedule. This process is intended to assist the City of Sunny Isles Beach in making appropriate choices so that the project ultimately satisfies each requirement. Establishing consensus among the diverse groups of participants will be an essential element in the success of any project. Architectural and Engineering Design Services RAI is a full-service architectural firm. Architecture, Interior Design, Estimating, Space Planning and Urban Planning are the foundational services offered by the firm’s “in house” personnel. Coordination of MEP, Civil, Structural and other engineering services within RAI projects is a daily practice. Continuing to serve as our client’s as a direct link to a full suite of A&E services is a role which we proudly accept. Project Management RAI’s project team is organized to deliver prompt, effective response to client requirements. In working with the firm, you will have direct access to firm principals for decision making, benefit from efficient production of all documents, stay informed from conception to construction, and see your goals met. As Principal-in-charge/Project Manager, Lourdes Rodriguez, AIA will be the City of Sunny Isles Beach’s primary contact maintaining “hands-on” control of all projects from start to finish. RAI’s internal organization relies on close, regular coordination between the Principal -in-charge, Lourdes Rodriguez, AIA, the Quality Assurance Manager, Miguel A. Rodriguez, FAIA, and Senior Project Coordinator, Rosi Cutrone, Assoc. AIA. This will provide three fully informed points of contact to you, all of whom are experienced with this type of contract. On occasions when one is temporarily unavailable, the other will be able to respond quickly ensuring that the client is always able to reach key persons. RAI is organized around client service and therefore retains senior staff that can effectively lead project teams and better collaborate between the client team members. The firm maintains a small and highly efficient technical staff and takes full advantage of current technologies to maximize productivity. As a result, your documents are produced at levels well above the ordinary firm while maintaining continuity to throughout the team.
