16 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ 26-07-01 <br />Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering | General Civil Engineer <br />Project Description <br />Under the City of North Miami Continuing Engineering Contract, Ross <br />has provided a range of civil engineering services including water main <br />improvements, roadway and stormwater improvements, hydrologic <br />and hydraulic analysis, stormwater pump station evaluation, utility <br />coordination, permitting, construction support, and related municipal <br />infrastructure services. <br />Representative Task Order – Biscayne Park Water Main Extension: Robert <br />J. Ross, PE, LEED AP, served as Engineer of Record for the extension of <br />the existing 6-inch water main along NE 9th Avenue. Ross coordinated <br />with the City’s Public Works Director to confirm the project scope, design <br />requirements, and implementation approach. The project included <br />approximately 1,000 linear feet of new 6-inch PVC water main and two <br />new fire hydrants, connecting to the existing 6-inch main along NE <br />10th Avenue. Plans and profiles identified roadway and swale conflicts <br />and supported permitting through the City of North Miami, Miami- <br />Dade County Health Department, and Miami-Dade Fire Department. <br /> <br />Ross also provided construction inspection support and obtained final <br />certification through the Health Department.
