17 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ 26-07-01 <br />Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering | General Civil Engineer <br />Watermain Replacement along Alhambra Circle (PCTS 15379) <br />As part of the Continuing Services Contract E15-WASD-03A, Ross was <br />hired for the design of this new emergency watermain along Alhambra <br />Circle. The design included engineering design and project management <br />services, specifications construction inspections and MOT plans. The <br />scope included designing 1,800 linear feet of new 8” dip watermain to <br />replace the existing 3” shallow pipeline in that area. The watermain had <br />to be offset from the median due to the large trees’ roots destroying the <br />pipe. Dry run permits were approved from the City of Coral Gables which <br />included a complex, advanced Maintenance of Traffic plan that the City’s <br />Public Works department requested. Construction has recently been <br />completed and certified. Completed: June 2023 Cost: $411K <br />NW 22nd Ave Wastewater Collection/Transmission System Expansion <br />and Water Distribution Systems Improvement for the North Sub-Basin <br />(D2-C-1) (PCTS 15158) <br />For project PCTS 15158 along NW 22nd Ave and NW 95th St, Ross designed <br />the D2-C-1 north portion servicing the area from NW 90th St north towards <br />NW 95th street, then east from NW 22nd Ave to NW 17th Ave. The scope <br />of work included the design, permitting and Construction Inspection of <br />the wastewater collection and transmission system and improvements <br />along the North Basin, north of NW 22nd Avenue. <br />The design included design a new potable water and wastewater <br />distribution system to the commercial and industrial parcels. The plan <br />and profiles of the wastewater system in civil 3D based on design report <br />provided by MDWASD.
