Ross, PE, LEED <br />AP, Ross Engineering, Inc. is a civil, environmental, and water resources engineering firm with 15 <br />full-time employees and offices in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The firm’s principals bring a <br />combined 53 years of engineering experience, primarily within the State of Florida, and have successfully <br />guided public- and private-sector projects from initial planning and evaluation through design, permitting, <br />bidding, construction administration, inspection, and closeout. <br />Ross Engineering takes a collaborative, team-oriented approach to project delivery, with careful <br />consideration of project budgets, schedules, constructability, regulatory requirements, operations, and <br />long-term maintenance. Ross understands the responsiveness, flexibility, clear scope <br />definition, schedule control, budget management, and consistent communication required to successfully <br />support public agencies under continuing services contracts. <br />ROSS ENGINEERING PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPAL AREAS: <br />Civil and Municipal Engineering: Roadway, paving, grading, drainage, utility coordination, land development, <br />public facilities, parks, sidewalks, ADA improvements, stormwater pollution prevention, construction documents, <br />permitting, bidding assistance, construction administration, and inspection services. <br />Water Resources and Stormwater Engineering: Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater master <br />planning, drainage system analysis and design, flood mitigation, water quality modeling, surface water and <br />groundwater modeling, drainage wells, stormwater pump stations, control structures, canals, reservoirs, <br />impoundments, levees, and environmental resource permitting. Our team has extensive experience <br />navigating permitting requirements and coordinating approvals with the Miami-Dade County Department <br />of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), supporting <br />efficient project delivery while maintaining compliance with applicable environmental regulations. <br />Water and Wastewater Utility Engineering: Water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection <br />systems, force mains, lift stations, pump stations, roadway utility crossings, utility extensions and <br />relocations, fire flow improvements, septic systems, irrigation systems, wells, and associated permitting. <br />Our team has experience coordinating water and wastewater utility projects with the Florida Department <br />of Environmental Protection (FDEP), including permitting and regulatory compliance related to <br />drinking water, wastewater collection and treatment, and associated environmental requirements. <br />Transportation and Traffic Engineering: Roadway reconstruction and rehabilitation, turn lanes, driveways, <br />sidewalks, medians, signing and pavement markings, maintenance of traffic, utility relocations, drainage <br />connections, and right-of-way permitting.
