RFQ # 26-07-01 CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />DISCIPLINE CATEGORY #4. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS <br />10 <br />South Side Cultural Arts Center Manual Transfer Switch <br />Cost: $100,000 Completion Date: Dec. 2024 <br />Description: SGM provided electrical engineering services for the installation of a new manual transfer switch (MTS) <br />to supply power to the entire building. The MTS was installed just outside the existing electrical room. The scope <br />also included parallel installation of two sets of 600 KCMIL copper conductors. <br />Corporate Drive and Cypress Creek Road <br />Cost: $400,000 Completion Date: Oct. 2023 <br />Description: SGM provided electrical engineering services for electrical feeder upgrades as required for Corporate <br />Drive and Cypress Creek Road addressing underground and crossing. <br />Fort Lauderdale Utilities Medal Building <br />Cost: $4,015 Completion Date: March 2020 <br />Description: SGM provided electrical engineering design services for a proposed Fort Lauderdale Utilities building. <br />Our scope of services included electrical lighting plan, electrical power plan, electrical panel schedule, power one <br />line diagram, and electrical site plan. <br />Police Headquarters Firing Range HVAC <br />Cost: $950,000 Completion Date: June 2019 <br />Description: SGM provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design to address the City of Fort <br />Lauderdale Police Department HVAC Firing Range and Radio Room Renovation. The scope included providing <br />heat load calculations to verify space loads, energy compliance forms in accordance with Florida Building Code – <br />Energy, and demolition drawings to remove four existing rooftop DX units (36) tons each. SGM also provided two <br />air cooled chillers sized at 80 tons each with packaged chilled water pumps. <br />Additionally, structural drawings were provided accordingly to address new slab, bollards, and pipe supports against <br />the wall and architectural and structural drawings to incorporate new chilled water rooftop AHUs. AHUs were <br />designed with fan wall with redundancy.
