ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS <br />14 <br />Orange County Animal Services Temporary Cooling <br />Cost: $40,000 Completion Date: Nov. 2023 <br />SGM provided Mechanical and Electrical services for the installation of a temporary cooling system at the Orange <br />County Animal Services building. Our scope of professional services included the preparation of construction <br />documents for the installation of a temporary cooling unit to condition the existing canine housing portion of the <br />facility. The existing ductwork was isolated and utilized to supply the conditioned air, while the existing electrical <br />infrastructure—including breakers, disconnects, and panels—were used and coordinated with the mechanical <br />equipment. In addition, SGM provided construction administration services to ensure proper installation and system <br />functionality. <br />Orange County OCSO Central Ops Electrical Assessment <br />Cost: $32,069 Completion Date: Sept. 2023 <br />SGM provided electrical engineering services for the assessment of the existing electrical system at the Orange <br />County Sheriff’s Office Central Operations Facility. We conducted site visits to review and assess the condition <br />of the main electrical gear and generator serving the facility and reviewed options for improving redundancy for <br />the EOC and other areas identified by the Owner. We provided assessment report describing the condition of the <br />existing system with recommendations for replacement and/or correction. We also provided a single cost estimate. <br />Orange County Courthouse Fire Sprinkler System Assessment <br />Cost: $24,944 Completion Date: June 2023 <br />SGM provided fire protection engineering services for the assessment of the existing fire sprinkler system at the <br />Orange County Courthouse. We conducted site visits to review and assess the condition and arrangement of the <br />existing automatic sprinkler system and provided an assessment report describing the condition of the existing fire <br />sprinkler system throughout the facility. <br />Orange County Maintenance Main Office HVAC Assessment <br />Cost: $5,256 Completion Date: June 2023 <br />SGM provided engineering services to evaluate the existing HVAC systems at Orange County Maintenance’s <br />Main Office building located at 2010 East Michigan Street in Orlando. The scope included assessing current site <br />conditions, available space, and support utilities to develop at least three suitable replacement options. Each option <br />included an estimated capital cost, with a final recommendation based on both installation cost and maintenance <br />considerations. SGM conducted site visits, provided a draft report detailing the options and cost estimates, reviewed <br />the findings with the County team, and delivered a finalized report. <br />Orange County Fort Christmas Blockhouses Electrical <br />Cost: $10,000 Completion Date: June 2023 <br />SGM provided electrical engineering and cost estimating services for the Fort Christmas Blockhouses 1 & 2 project. <br />The scope of work included preparing electrical design documents to update the existing electrical systems, including <br />new panelboards, wiring, conduit, and lighting with associated controls.
