ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS <br />21 <br />City Requirement SGM Qualification and Response Compliance <br />Current professional <br />licensing and qualified <br />electrical personnel <br />SGM is authorized to provide professional engi- <br />neering services in Florida. Electrical deliverables <br />will be prepared under the responsible charge <br />of a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer and <br />reviewed before issuance. <br />Meets <br />General electrical con- <br />sultation <br />SGM provides feasibility evaluations, condition <br />assessments, code analyses, system studies, <br />alternatives evaluations, life-cycle comparisons, <br />recommendations, and implementation plan- <br />ning for municipal electrical systems. <br />Exceeds <br />Electrical engineering <br />design <br />SGM designs low- and medium-voltage distribu- <br />tion, services, feeders, panelboards, switchgear, <br />grounding, surge protection, lighting, controls, <br />emergency power, generators, automatic trans- <br />fer switches, and supporting electrical infrastruc- <br />ture. <br />Exceeds <br />Technical specifications <br />SGM prepares coordinated technical specifications <br />addressing materials, equipment, execution, testing, <br />commissioning, warranties, closeout, and applicable <br />City requirements. <br />Meets <br />Construction documents <br />SGM prepares signed and sealed drawings, calcula- <br />tions, schedules, details, technical specifications, bid <br />quantities, phasing requirements, temporary-power <br />provisions, and other construction documents appro- <br />priate to each assignment. <br />Exceeds <br />Bidding services <br />SGM supports pre-bid meetings, technical questions, <br />addenda, bid evaluations, scope comparisons, and <br />recommendations for award as authorized by the <br />City. <br />Meets <br />Construction-administra- <br />tion services <br />SGM provides submittal and RFI review, site observa- <br />tions, meeting support, pay-application recommen- <br />dations, change evaluation, testing coordination, <br />punch-list services, and record-document review. <br />Exceeds <br />On-site representation <br />SGM can provide task-appropriate field investigations, <br />site observations, construction monitoring, testing and <br />commissioning support, deficiency documentation, <br />and closeout verification. <br />Meets <br />Preliminary and milestone <br />cost estimates <br />SGM prepares quantity-based opinions of probable <br />construction cost and reconciles the estimate with <br />the approved budget as the assignment advances. <br />Estimates address escalation, contingency, phasing, <br />temporary systems, permitting, testing, and long-lead <br />equipment as applicable. <br />Exceeds <br />2.
