The scope involved <br />performing load calculations in accordance with the Florida Building Code – Energy Code, <br />ventilation calculations per ASHRAE 62.1, and required energy calculations. Structural <br />design included uplift calculations to support the new units, ensuring compatibility with <br />the existing roof openings. The scope also included control drawings and construction <br />administration services as needed. <br />FIU MMC University Park Towers – Domestic Water Booster Pump Replacement <br />Cost: $75,000 Completion Date: Feb. 2024 <br />Description: SGM provided MEP engineering services for the University Park Towers <br />domestic water booster pump replacement. The scope included the demolition and <br />removal of the existing domestic water booster pumps and associated components, <br />followed by the installation of a new prepackaged domestic water booster skid with all <br />necessary controls.
