<br />Mr. Ignacio Serralta has over 35 years of experience in civil engineering planning, design and management for a wide range of public works, site development and infrastructure projects. He has been responsible for the design of roadway improvements, storm drainage systems, water and sanitary sewers transmission pipelines, as well as reservoirs and pump stations. He is familiar with the many facets of public and private project management and has served as Project Manager/Engineer on many projects.

<br />Roadway Improvements to NW 58th Street from 97th Ave to SR-826 | Principal -
<br />in-Charge
<br />The scope of services encompassed engineering design and post-design activities to
<br />support the reconstruction of a two-mile roadway into a modern four-lane corridor with
<br />a continuous center turn lane. This effort included stakeholder coordination and
<br />multimodal enhancements such as bike lanes, ADA-compliant sidewalks, drainage
<br />upgrades, roadway lighting, and traffic signal improvements, along with pavement
<br />markings and signage design, environmental permitting, and construction
<br />administration services to ensure successful project delivery and regulatory
<br />compliance.
<br />Traffic Calming Improvements | Principal-in-Charge
<br />The scope of work for this project included the installation of 23 speed humps/tables
<br />within targeted areas of City of Miami District 4, along with roadway milling and
<br />resurfacing and the replacement of damaged sidewalks, driveway approaches, curbs
<br />and gutters, valley gutters, ADA ramps, and associated pavement markings and
<br />signage. SRS provided comprehensive services including project management, field
<br />investigations, utility coordination, engineering design, CADD drafting, and
<br />construction administration to support the delivery of these traffic calming
<br />improvements.
<br />West Dixie Highway | Principal-in-Charge
<br />This project involved the design of roadway improvements along West Dixie Highway
<br />from NE 163rd to NE 173rd Street in Miami-Dade County, including the reconstruction
<br />of approximately ¾ mile of a four-lane roadway. The scope included drainage
<br />upgrades, the addition of three signalized intersections, and the construction of a new
<br />four-lane concrete bridge to replace aging infrastructure in accordance with FDOT and
<br />county standards. Additional enhancements featured roadway lighting, ADA-compliant
<br />sidewalks and ramps, and utility coordination, supported by multidisciplinary design
<br />efforts, detailed analysis, and the preparation of bid-ready construction documents.
<br />Saga Bay (South) Roadway & Drainage Improvements | Principal-in-Charge The
<br />scope of work included engineering design, construction documents, and
<br />permitting coordination with the Town of Cutler Bay and Miami-Dade County agencies,
<br />along with limited construction support. The project involved roadway reconstruction
<br />and drainage improvements within the Saga Bay 1.5 – South Sub-Basin, as well as the
<br />design of pavement markings, signage, sidewalks, and ADA upgrades, with Mr.
<br />Serralta serving as Engineer of Record for markings and signage.
