6.3 Project Management Methodology

Schindler Architects utilizes a straightforward project management approach centered on clear
responsibilities, direct communication, and consistent principal oversight. Each assignment
begins with confirmation of the City’s scope, objectives, budget, schedule, and required
deliverables so that the project team and City staff share a common understanding from the
outset.

Jacek W. Schindler, AIA, will provide principal-level oversight, with Eduardo R. Juarez, RA,
supporting the day-to-day management and technical development of assignments. This
streamlined structure keeps decision-making close to the project and provides the City with direct
access to the professionals responsible for the work.

Throughout each assignment, the team will monitor progress against established milestones,
coordinate required reviews and approvals, and identify issues that could affect scope, schedule,
or budget. Potential concerns will be communicated to City staff early, allowing decisions to be
made before they become larger project challenges.

Schindler’s project management philosophy is intentionally uncomplicated: establish clear
expectations, maintain communication, follow through on commitments, and keep the project
moving forward. This approach provides the accountability and flexibility needed to successfully
manage the variety of assignments anticipated under the City’s continuing services contract.
