<br />Ms. Lopez has more than 20 years of experience in land use planning, transportation, and real estate development, working for both the private and public sectors. As a General Planning Consultant, she provides land use planning and transportation expertise to various municipal clients and the local School District and has directly managed over 250 development and entitlement applications. Ms. Lopez specializes in the analysis of land use issues related to comprehensive plans and long-range planning, land development regulations, real estate development, due diligence, site planning and entitlement reviews. Her experience also includes developing and managing project teams, preparing zoning regulations, drafting ordinances, preparing studies for eminent domain, drafting technical staff memos and presenting recommendations, assisting with transportation master plans, and providing code interpretations for municipal clients. She manages numerous planning projects for Corradino’s municipal and agency clients, including the City of Homestead, where she served as the Deputy Director of Development Services, overseeing the Planning & Zoning, Building Safety, and Business Licensing Divisions, and the City of Doral, where she serves as the Interim Planning Director.

<br />Planning Division, The Corradino Group, Inc., Miami, FL | Technical Vice President - Manages the general business operations of the Planning Division, including marketing, business development, staff utilization, monthly business planning, work-in-progress management, financial reporting and analysis, and the overall growth of the Division. Works with Staff to ensure quality client service and that efficiency is consistent and maintained. Collaborates closely with production, marketing, human resources, senior management and executive management. Works with multidisciplinary staff of professionals to identify and pursue business prospects, coordinating proposals and supporting materials for new business opportunities. Provides technical support to staff and clients, as it relates to land development regulations, comprehensive planning, code interpretations, transportation initiatives, and business management. Manages client deliverables and Division profitability, conducts QA/QC of working drafts, and distributes work to qualified staff and appropriate personnel. Responsibilities include reviewing proposals, hiring personnel, contract negotiations, project work planning, coordinating with other Division Managers and Project Managers, supervision of executed work, and ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables.
<br />City of Doral, Interim Director, Planning & Zoning Department | General Planning Consultant - From April 2024 through February 2026, Corradino was tasked with the overall administration, management, operations and problem solving of the Planning & Zoning Department and its Divisions, including Planning and Zoning and Business Licensing. Ms. Lopez assisted in rebuilding the Department and continues to serve as the City's General Planning Consultant, providing leadership and expertise regarding the City’s Comprehensive Plan, land development regulations, development and entitlements review, long range planning, and the preparation and presentation of staff reports and agenda items. She was responsible for assigning and reviewing work of departmental personnel and consultants, as well as administering special projects and issues. She coordinated the work activities of multiple City Departments and Divisions, provided agency coordination for intergovernmental planning activities, and provided support on City initiated projects, including capital improvements, and infrastructure.
