Provided technical analysis of transportation projects and initiatives throughout Miami-Dade County for impacts to the School District and its 439 facilities. She coordinated efforts between MDCPS, Florida Department of Transportation, Miami-Dade County, and incorporated Municipalities for maintenance of traffic required for projects adjacent to MDCPS facilities. She also prepared agenda items for School Board consideration and endorsement. <br />Village of Palmetto Bay Interim Planning Director | Project Manager - Corradino is tasked with the overall planning, administration, management, operations and problem solving of the Planning & Zoning Division. Ms. Lopez performs professional and managerial oversight of the Division, requiring advanced knowledge of development and entitlements review, long-range planning, and the preparation and presentation of technical staff reports and Council agenda items. She is responsible for assigning and reviewing the work of departmental personnel and consultants, as well as administering to special projects and issues. She coordinates work activities of multiple Village Departments and Divisions, and provides agency coordination for intergovernmental planning activities, and provides support on Village-initiated projects. <br />City of Homestead, FL | Zoning Associate/Planner - Responsibilities included reviewing applications for site plan and variances and providing staff analysis for community impact and feasibility for administrative approvals for residential, commercial, and industrial developments. Her review included analyzing applications, surveys, plat reviews with support documentation, site plans, landscape and architectural plans for compliance with the city regulations; prepared staff reports and made recommendations to the Development Review Committee (DRC), Planning and Zoning Board, and City Council; and reviewed building permit applications for compliance with zoning, landscaping, and sign codes, comprehensive plan, and adopted ordinances and resolutions. Ms. Lopez also provided technical and professional zoning assistance to the public. <br />BCM Construction Management, Miami, FL | Development/Construction/Estimating Consultant - Reviewed scopes of work and construction documents for bid. Coordinated project teams for bid response. Developed job estimates for commercial, municipal, and county clients, requests for bid, request for proposal, and request for qualification using historical data, take-off analysis, and subcontractor bid comparisons.
