<br />Mr. Yang has over 25 years of engineering experience with emphasis in
<br />transportation data collection, traffic engineering, transportation planning,
<br />Geographic Information System (GIS) application, and data analysis. He has been
<br />involved in several research projects for Florida Department of Transportation
<br />(FDOT), which focus on travel demand model improvements and GIS application in
<br />transportation planning. After he started his professional career, Mr. Yang has
<br />served FDOT and many other local governments, such as Miami-Dade County and
<br />TPO, Broward County and MPO, City of Fort Lauderdale, City of Boca Raton, and
<br />Palm Beach TPA, among many others. He has provided professional services in
<br />multimodal data collection, planning and engineering, traffic analyses, managed
<br />lane feasibility studies, transit corridor studies, traffic simulation, travel demand
<br />modeling, transit and multimodal minor design, PD&E studies, corridor action
<br />plan/master plan development, ITS planning and technology implementation, traffic
<br />impact study and reviews, traffic data collection, long range travel demand
<br />forecasts, school zone studies, and local government transportation system master
<br />plan development. He is familiar with various simulation platforms, programming
<br />languages, and demand modeling programs.
