Performed document reviews of safety and security documents for compliance with federal (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964), state of Florida (Rule Chapter 14-90, F.A.C), and local requirements associated with the Interlocal Agreements for the Community Shuttle Program (CSP) participants in Broward County. Site-visits were made for all 18 municipalities to discuss the agency’s processes and standards for the CSP perform and vehicle inspections. Developed an audit template incorporating all relevant requirements and provided findings with recommendations. Provided assistance to develop and complete Corrective Action Plan (CAPs) relating to the audit findings. As part of this effort, a Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) template was also developed, incorporating the unique characteristics of Broward County, and relevant standards, and was also provided for each of the municipalities to adopt.
