<br />Enid Drive and Galen Drive, in the Village of Key Biscayne, Florida. Drainage improvements consist of a new pump station and
<br />approximately 740 feet of drainage pipe. The new pump station will be embedded about 15 feet below existing grades. AREHNA
<br />provided geotechnical recommendations for the design and construction of the pump stations.
<br /> Various Engineering Services for Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning – Continuing Contracts, Hollywood, Broward County, Florida AREHNA supports this contract on an as-needed basis, providing geotechnical engineering and
<br />construction materials testing services. The contract scope includes roadway improvements, roadway design, drainage systems, traffic
<br />safety enhancements, roadway studies, and threshold inspections. Mr. Tao serves as the Geotechnical Project Engineer, with
<br />responsibilities that include coordinating field investigations and laboratory testing, performing geotechnical analyses, and preparing
<br />engineering recommendations to support project design and construction activities.
<br /> City of Oakland Park Mast Arm Traffic Signals at 19 Intersections, Broward County, Florida This project involved the design and
<br />construction of new mast arm foundations at 19 intersections throughout the City of Oakland Park. Mr. Tao served as the Geote chnical
<br />Project Engineer and was responsible for coordinating field investigations and utility clearances, performing geotechnical ev aluations,
<br />preparing geotechnical reports, and developing design and construction engineering recommendations.
<br /> Continuing Services for Design Projects (Contract Nos. CAM59, CAJ57, CA982 & CA055), FDOT District Four, Florida Mr. Tao
<br />served as the Geotechnical Engineer for task work orders involving a variety of roadway improvement projects, including roadw ay
<br />widening, traffic safety enhancements, lighting structures, overhead sign structures, mast arm foundations, and drainage
<br />improvements. His responsibilities included coordinating field investigations and laboratory testing, performing geotechnical analyses,
<br />and developing engineering recommendations to support the design and construction of transportation infrastructure projects.
<br /> Master Pump Station 300 Rehabilitation, Dania Beach, Broward County, Florida Mr. Tao serves as the Geotechnical Engineer for
<br />the proposed improvements to Pump Station 300, which include the construction of a new generator pad and concrete access ramp .
<br />His responsibilities include supporting geotechnical investigations, performing engineering analyses, and providing geotechnical
<br />recommendations during design and construction.
<br /> City of Hollywood Professional Engineering Continuing Services Civil Engineering Roadway, City of Hollywood, Florida Mr.
<br />Tao is serving as Senior Geotechnical Engineer for this task work order contract, which has included the bridge replacement o ver the
<br />C-10 canal and includes milling and resurfacing and drainage improvements.
<br /> Port Everglades Phase 1, Berths 1-3 & 1A-1D Bulkhead Wall Replacement, Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida Mr. Tao
<br />serves as Project Engineer for the proposed improvements for Phase 1 of Port Everglades bulkhead wall replacement plan. This
<br />project includes bulkhead walls to be constructed in front of the existing bulkhead walls, drainage upgrades, and new passeng er bridge
<br />foundations for the mobile passenger bridges.
<br /> Delta FLL Terminal 2 Modernization - Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Broward County, Florida AREHNA provided
<br />construction materials testing and inspection services for this project. The project includes approximately 250,000 square fe et of
<br />renovation and expansion to the existing terminal and connector bridges between terminals 1 and 2 and terminals 2 and 3 for p ost
<br />security passengers to access both terminals. Mr. Tao provided oversight of the geotechnical engineering and laboratory testing.
<br /> Pine Island Rd. from Orange Dr. to Nova Dr. Town of Davie, Broward County, Florida Mr. Tao serves as the Geotechnical
<br />Engineer for this roadway widening project, which includes the addition of approximately 1.9 miles of two new travel lanes, b ridge
<br />widening, construction of a new bulkhead wall along the CBWCD N-12 Canal, miscellaneous structures, and associated drainage
<br />improvements.
<br /> Hanna City Center, Tampa, Florida Mr. Tao served as Geotechnical Engineer for this project, which consisted of the redevelopment
<br />of the property located at 2515 E. Hanna Avenue to construct a new three-story municipal facility approximately 161,000-square-foot,
<br />500-car parking garage, refurbish the existing main manufacturing building and/or refurbish or replace several existing structures.
<br /> Indian Trace Roadway Improvements, City of Weston, Broward County, Florida The project consists of roadway widening and
<br />milling and resurfacing along approximately 2.6 miles of the corridor. Mr. Tao's responsibilities included project oversight, boring layout,
<br />utility coordination, soil classification, geotechnical analyses, and preparation of geotechnical recommendations for pavemen t design,
<br />drainage improvements, and site preparation.
<br /> A/E Facility Plan and Design Projects, Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Florida AREHNA provides geotechnical engineering
<br />services for this task order contract which includes, park improvements, with new grandstands, concrete concourse, and draina ge
<br />improvements. Mr. Tao’s responsibilities include field and laboratory coordination, geotechnical analysis, site recommendations and
<br />reports. Projects have included Sugar Sand Park.
