Page 67CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH • RFQ #26-07-01 • CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />TAB 2 | QUALIFICATIONS <br />| CTS PROJECT EXAMPLES <br />Experience <br />Miami-Dade County / District 6 <br />Districtwide Traffic Operations and Safety Studies – FDOT District 6 <br />CTS has performed intersection and corridor operational analyses, crash and safety studies, traffic data <br />collection, signal warrant analyses, sight-distance evaluations, lighting studies, road safety audits, <br />intersection control evaluations, access-management studies, pedestrian-crossing evaluations, concept <br />development, and preliminary cost estimates. This is the broadest match to the RFQ’s traffic engineering, <br />safety, congestion-management, and multimodal-analysis services. <br />Districtwide Traffic Engineering Studies and Engineering Reviews – FDOT District 6 <br />CTS reviews traffic impact studies, PD&E documents, access and utility permits, safety and pedestrian <br />studies, signalization plans, intersection and arterial analyses, and Miami SMART Plan studies. The team <br />also represents FDOT in technical and interagency coordination meetings. This project demonstrates <br />responsiveness under a continuing-services contract and familiarity with complex urban transportation <br />issues in Miami-Dade County. <br />Miami SMART Plan Beach Corridor and BERT Network – Miami-Dade County DTPW <br />CTS supported planning for a premium transit connection between downtown Miami, the Miami Beach <br />Convention Center, and the Design District, as well as the countywide Bus Express Rapid Transit network. <br />Services included transit and traffic analysis, technology assessment, travel-demand modeling, service <br />planning, and operating-cost estimates. This is the strongest Miami-Dade example for the transit portion <br />of the category. <br />PortMiami Tunnel Freight Mobility Evaluation Study – FDOT District 6 <br />CTS evaluated existing and future freight and passenger transportation conditions associated with <br />operation of the PortMiami Tunnel. Services included stakeholder coordination, traffic and freight data <br />analysis, GIS mapping and visualization, travel-demand and VISSIM simulation modeling, evaluation of <br />future multimodal improvements, and coordination with PortMiami, CSX, FEC, cruise operators, and <br />other partners. This project demonstrates CTS’s ability to address complex port, freight, transit, roadway, <br />and multimodal mobility needs within a constrained urban environment.
