<br />Traffic Engineering/Safety Studies and Traffic Operations and Design
<br />Diana White, PE, PTOE, RSP1, has 19 years of experience in Florida as a traffic operations engineer and will serve as the Traffic Engineering Discipline Lead for this contract. Her experience includes analysis and design of traffic signals, roundabouts, and intelligent traffic operations; roadway safety; and the development of traffic studies, such as citywide multimodal mobility studies, carrying capacity studies, corridor signal retiming studies, and others. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida and currently holds the Florida Advanced Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) certification. She has extensive experience with the Broward MPO Complete Streets & Localized Initiatives Program (CSLIP), the Broward County Surtax Municipal Capital Projects, and Safe Streets and Roads for all (SS4A). Diana was the Engineer of Record for the mast arm conversions for 35 intersections in Broward County. Diana recently served as lead traffic and transportation engineer for a continuing services contract involving traffic, roadway, and civil engineering services. She also served on the technical advisory committee (TAC) at the Broward MPO. Diana has also recently provided traffic and transportation analysis and design services for numerous intersections as part of the Broward County Intersection Prioritization project.
<br />Ryan Solis Rios, PE, PTOE, will serve as Senior Traffic Engineer on this contract. Mr. Solis-Rios’ areas of expertise are planning, traffic operations, safety, and project development. As a former FDOT District Two Project Manager and now with Corradino, he has worked and finalized over 35 Planning and Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies, which included express lanes, system-to-system interchanges, service interchanges, interchange reports (IJR, IMR, IOAR), freeway systems, tolled roadways, principal arterial widening projects, and FIHS/SIS facilities. He brings a significant perspective through his involvement in the initial project development phases, traffic analyses, and construction management. Ryan’s technical expertise includes Planning and Project Development and Environment Studies (PD&E), traffic studies, traffic analysis, traffic flow and signal timing models, alternatives analysis, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) planning, and generating project cost estimates (LRE), including engineering cost, construction cost, right-of-way cost, and maintenance cost for infrastructure projects.
<br />Vanessa Spatafora, PE, will serve as Senior Traffic Engineer and Transit Planner on this contract and has 17 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering. She has performed all facets of roadway design and has extensive experience with FDOT’s procedures, including plan production, specification preparation, maintenance of traffic planning, and cost estimating. In addition, Mrs. Spatafora has considerable experience in traffic study review, highway engineering, intelligent transportation systems, crash data analysis, and safety evaluation. Vanessa has recently served as in-house support for the City of Fort Lauderdale Transportation and Mobility Department and the Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization. Vanessa served as the Transportation and Mobility liaison with the Department of Sustainable Development for all development and redevelopment traffic-engineering-related reviews. Vanessa has also assisted with traffic engineering reviews for development and redevelopment projects as part of Corradino’s current Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning Continuing Services Contracts with the City of Fort Lauderdale and City of Homestead.
